We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyOur experience at the restaurant wasnt the greatest. When we got there we got mixed directions on where we had to seat and they made us switch later. The waiteress wasnt in the best mood apparently. Food was ok but a bit pricy and not many options.
Great location and good facilities, our room was a bit out of the way but recently renovated and quiet so we didn’t mind. Breakfast was amazing, I’m not usually into eating much in the mornings but the pancakes and fresh organice juice conquered me immediately! The staff was very nice and attentive.

IrelandOur room was on the Neustadt and traffic was loud. It was very hot, so we had our windows open. Despite the noise, the bed was super comfy and I still managed to get some sleep.
Room 107 was relaxing, spacious and very clean. Bed was super cosy and comfy! Dinner on both nights in the restaurant was delicious. Essential to book, very popular! Waitressing staff were friendly and helpful and Silke at reception looked after us so well! Great choice for breakfast and all delicious. I particularly liked the freshly squeezed orange juice and the scrambled eggs with crispy bacon! Location is excellent, 2 minutes walk to the Marien Kirche, "Tina", Marktplatz and don't miss the "Wochenmarkt" every Thursday. Great atmosphere, we were there on a sunny day! This is one hotel I'd love to stay again!

The breakfast was good, very clean hotel, great brewery restaurant next door. Three are 11 kW EV chargers in the backyard only for hotel guests. You ask for a charging card in the reception and pay €7 for parking and then charging is free of extra charge.

United KingdomI asked for rooms nearest the lift for my father who cannot climb stairs, and the hotel kindly sorted this for me. However, the reception area is physically locked up each night so the lift is inaccessible from 22:00. After this, there are only the stairs up to the rooms. A hotel phone rings out a member of staff who came within 10 minutes to open reception and allow access to the lift again but it was very frustrating to stand in a stair lobby for 10 minutes. I think it should be clear there is no lift after 22:00.
