Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

ItalyThe minute I entered the hotel a stench hit my nose. My educated guess is a sewage pipeline directly underneath the building cracked at one point in time due to seismic activity (even a small quake can crack heavy pipelines if it is shallow and occurs at the epicenter). The unmistakable smell is everywhere in the building . It does not spread from the bathroom pipelines (it is the same in the room and public areas. The entire building is engulfed in it). This is of course not the fault of the owner (the local authority has the responsibility to fix the pipe) but having browsed previous reviews I noticed the problem was mentioned by a guest already 8 months ago. The owner should at the very least find a temporary solution and place essential oil scents in the rooms and lobby because it really is unpleasant.
Access to the U1 line (underground station) is practically at the entrance to the hotel. The price I paid was low especially considering the location and easy access from and to the airport (the S1 leaves the airport every 20 minutes and there is one change at Wandsbeker Chausse. The entire trip can be as short as 25 minutes). The reception staff is friendly and helpful (the lady on the morning of my arrival also informed me of a strike on the day of my departure. Luckily my flight was not affected but her concern is commendable because up to that point I was not aware of it). Heating.

PolandOur room's windows were headed just at the busy street so it was loud, even at night. We could even hear people talking on the street. There's also a church next to the hotel and we could also hear it's bells ringing. There seemed to be some issues with the radiators too, because they were working very loudly.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lot of facilities like electric kettle & tea, fridge, tissues, desk, ironing desk and hair dryer. Free coffee at the lobby for hotel guests. Luggage storage. Metro station just a few steps from the hotel entrance.

United KingdomNo English Tv, if as advertised satellite Tv, some should be in English. We used our Ipad to watch films. No Bar, No fridge, No room Telephones. For the price all rooms should have the above facilities.
Location was good with Train entry was just outside hotel. Staff are very good, to ask advice, also very friendly. Clean hotel. Good mattress 😴

GreeceThe size of the room. Although well cleaned and cosy it was a bit small. It is really comfy for one person but for two people it is rather narrow. And I would also recommend a refreshing in the decoration.
The room was comfortable and well cleaned. The staff really polite and welcoming. The location was absolutely amazing as it is both conveniently close to the centre and next to the bus stop for everything else in the suburbs. You can reach the metro station a few steps from the main entrance something extremely appreciated weather wise :)

The hotel has a great location - very close to the metro station and close to Hamburg city center. The room was very clean and spacious. There is a small kettle in the room.
