Good location near public transport. Excellent breakfast. Rooms small but clean and good for one or two nights. Very friendly staff and a simple nice place to stay. Nothing fancy but just good old service and comfortable.

The minute I entered the hotel a stench hit my nose. My educated guess is a sewage pipeline directly underneath the building cracked at one point in time due to seismic activity (even a small quake can crack heavy pipelines if it is shallow and occurs at the epicenter). The unmistakable smell is everywhere in the building . It does not spread from the bathroom pipelines (it is the same in the room and public areas. The entire building is engulfed in it). This is of course not the fault of the owner (the local authority has the responsibility to fix the pipe) but having browsed previous reviews I noticed the problem was mentioned by a guest already 8 months ago. The owner should at the very least find a temporary solution and place essential oil scents in the rooms and lobby because it really is unpleasant.

Access to the U1 line (underground station) is practically at the entrance to the hotel. The price I paid was low especially considering the location and easy access from and to the airport (the S1 leaves the airport every 20 minutes and there is one change at Wandsbeker Chausse. The entire trip can be as short as 25 minutes). The reception staff is friendly and helpful (the lady on the morning of my arrival also informed me of a strike on the day of my departure. Luckily my flight was not affected but her concern is commendable because up to that point I was not aware of it). Heating.

Our room's windows were headed just at the busy street so it was loud, even at night. We could even hear people talking on the street. There's also a church next to the hotel and we could also hear it's bells ringing. There seemed to be some issues with the radiators too, because they were working very loudly.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Lot of facilities like electric kettle & tea, fridge, tissues, desk, ironing desk and hair dryer. Free coffee at the lobby for hotel guests. Luggage storage. Metro station just a few steps from the hotel entrance.

No English Tv, if as advertised satellite Tv, some should be in English. We used our Ipad to watch films. No Bar, No fridge, No room Telephones. For the price all rooms should have the above facilities.

Location was good with Train entry was just outside hotel. Staff are very good, to ask advice, also very friendly. Clean hotel. Good mattress 😴

The size of the room. Although well cleaned and cosy it was a bit small. It is really comfy for one person but for two people it is rather narrow. And I would also recommend a refreshing in the decoration.

The room was comfortable and well cleaned. The staff really polite and welcoming. The location was absolutely amazing as it is both conveniently close to the centre and next to the bus stop for everything else in the suburbs. You can reach the metro station a few steps from the main entrance something extremely appreciated weather wise :)

Unfortunately, our nights were disturbed by a noise. We thought about the metro, or maybe a shop or bar nearby.

The room was clean. Staff friendly, breakfast very good. Finally a safe in the room, which is big enough to store our laptops.U Bahn just in front s-bahn also nearby.

My room was at the street side and it's too noisy, Windows with better noise dampening should be installed. Breakfast too expensive.

Clean hotel with friendly staff, room is what you would expect, not supernew but decent. Shower is nice and hot, very good room service.

There was a desk in the room, but for some reason there was no chair, so I couldn't really use the desk. It would also be great to have a small fridge in the room.

The hotel has a great location - very close to the metro station and close to Hamburg city center. The room was very clean and spacious. There is a small kettle in the room.

Calm room near to metro station. Equipment of a room looks little bit old fashion, but nothing to complain. Clean bathroom was part of a room. Desk is 24hours. Perfect.
