Very nice staff and good location. Our room was a little "old school style" and should be refresh in my opinion, but was enough. The hotel is located in peace and quiet area opposite the park.

We were at first facing the street, which seemed quite noisy, however the receptionist kindly moved us to a garden facing room which was, for the most part, infinitely quieter and much better overall. However the courtyard does share space with a senior residence and sadly there was an older woman who was, off and on, loudly talking & yelling to herself

We arrived with 3 hours delay (airport/plane problem), very exhausted, with a toddler, around 8 PM. We just wanted to take a shower and go to bed. Due to a central problem there was no hot water in the whole building. They might have announced it in the elevator but would have been kind to be informed upon arrival and not to be "surprised" being already in the shower :( The balconies would deserve some furniture :) Except for this, everything was really very great!

The breakfast was great, fresh, it had everything from meat to pastry, from "free" to healthy, from sweet to savory, cold and warm. They automatically brought a high chair when we entered with our toddler. The chair was high quality! :) The staff was very friendly and helpful. At first we received a different room from what we booked, but in 10 minutes they changed it for us. The location is simply perfect if you don't want to be in the "main square", but relatively close to the center, restaurants and public transportation. The park just in front of the hotel is huge, it has several playgrounds (even one with water :) )which was very important for us.

There was not much going on. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Coffee in the bar was very boring. Seating was in a way that you couldn't see other people. Not even a small thing to eat in the evening.

The mattress was not comfortable and the curtains don’t cover the entire window (😩) so I slept really badly both nights. Which is kind of the point of a hotel. Bad back + sunshine coming through the windows at 4.30am is not great

The staff are INCREDIBLE 11/10!! Friendly helpful kind. I lost my wallet and they helped me a LOT 💕Breakfast was great. Location also and the room super clean!!

location a bit far from attractions although nice park and trams/buses nearby. The bar is closed Sunday and Monday evenings and closes at 10 weekdays and 10.30 Friday/ Saturday. Couldn’t even get a cup of tea at 5pm because the kitchen shut.

The cleaning was not great. Always missing cleaning parts. There's no fridge in the room. The bar only opens at 6PM and not on Sunday so even if we need a glasses or ice we can't get.

The kitchen doesn't open on Mondays and since lots of restaurants in general don't open on Mondays in Berlin it took a bit of searching around for somewhere to have dinner.

Comfortable room, and friendly staff, very close to Volkspark Friedrichshain which is a beautiful park and close by trendy areas Penzlauer Berg and Fridrichshain. I've stayed here on multiple occasions and when I've had my dog with me they have been really obliging in giving us a quieter room.

For me as I do travel a lot most hotels when staying in larger room, there is always kettle and cups, It’s never problem as I now ask the desk staff, they are always helping in giving me what I need

Like being there as my room is a really nice size and I have view of the Park, love the terrace out side the bar area, for me now as I have stayed there several times, it’s good location for the Trams and walking also to restaurants,
