- Everything was fine for us in Eisenach for 2 nights.

- Very spacious room and really big, comfy bed. - Nice view looking over the Eisenach forests and seeing the Burschenschaftsdenkmal on the hill. - Breakfast was adequate for a few nights stay and own ability to make freshly squeezed orange juice, plus requesting how you’d like your eggs cooked :) - Only 15-20mins by foot into the old town to grab a Thüringer Bratwurst. For dinners, only 10mins drive to a few local, well known restaurants in the city.

Great location in the green area and beautiful views , close to the Wartburg castle & city centre ; we loved the way up to the hotel , even in the dark the path was well lit !

Parking was a little tight. Because it is so high up on a hill, walking somewhere was tough when we came back!

Beautifully renovated small hotel - great views and a delicious breakfast! Very accommodating and put our 2 rooms right next to each other. Lots of space in the rooms!

Bathroom: 5/10. The handheld shower's plastic (or rubber?) head had "fibres" sticking out which I thought were hair at first but the staff assured me that it was just plastic; in any case, that made me a very uncomfortable. Please consider switching to metallic shower heads. Elevator: 0/10. No elevator.

Breakfast: 10/10. Lavish breakfast buffet + eggs in your preferred style. Room: 10/10. Comfortable bed, wide work desk, free drinks, clean wardrobe, safe with number lock. Location: 10/10. Close to downtown Eisenach and also only 1 hour walking distance from Wartburg (castle). Staff: 10/10. Provided great help in spite of not all of them knowing English. They provided me with a physical map and marked the route to Wartburg for my hike (I prefer the physical map to Google maps).

There was nothing that one could not like.

The hotel is super comfy. The staff is very friendly. We will definitely come here again. You can start hiking directly from the hotel. The breakfast was exceptional.

Traditional property refurbished in modern style. Larger than average room and finely furnished. Great breakfast selection. Limited English spoken but not a problem. Great location for the Wartburg and walkable to the town centre.

There is no lift and quite a few stairs up to hotel Lobby which can be hard with heavy bags.

The included breakfast was truly wonderful. So much to choose from. They make eggs to your liking. Beds super comfortable. Great views of the city since you are high up. Staff very helpful.

Wish it was more accessible for those with disabilities.

This is a super cute b&b with modern and clean furnishings. The staff were very accommodating for my father and gave him a room on the main floor because he was not able to climb the stairs to his room on the third floor. The included breakfast was very nice with a nice selection of bread, spreads and deli. WiFi was great and minibar was included! Get room 22! It has a lovely terrace and is very comfortable :)

All in all it was an exceptional stay: friendly staff, great location in the middle of the villa quarter, comfortable bed and cosy breakfast buffet area. We simply loved our stay and will come back :-)

Hotel is in a Hill, far away from the city center and with no public transport, no restaurant, no shops nearby. To go into the hotel, one has to take 31 steps, it’s even more difficult with heavy luggage. We asked to have a room which can be reached by elevator, but the hotel did not inform us before that there are only steps outside and inside the hotel. People working at the reception can only speak German, with few words in English,making the communication very difficult! The manager of the reception and hotel asked us to pay at the check-in,but others told us only when checkout.

Special thanks to the girls working in the breakfast and housekeeping, especially Sofia and Diana, who speak English, and also helping the reception.

Very disappointed with late notice. We did not see the message until we arrived. We were happy with the standard of alternate venue but it was well out of town and distant from our planned activities. Overbooking shouldn't happen.

We found when we arrived that Hotel Villa Anna had overbooked and we had no room. They had advised us by message the night before our arrival. Fortunately Hotel Volla Anna had made an alternate booking about 7km away.
