The location is not super central but easy to reach by bus or subway. My room was extremely clean and the staff was friendly.

Quite far out of town from the tourist spots. No laundromat close by.

Friendly staff, decent value for the size of the room and to have a balcony. Waking distance to the bus station and train.

There was no kettle/tea in the room (normally standard in the price range) and the shower mixer was broken (which is difficult to detect if not reported by previous guests).

Room had lots of storage, a spacious bathroom, and a little terrace with chairs. Furniture was all solid wood, well upholstered, and overall great quality.

I had a good rate. Thought it included advertised swimming pool, sauna etc and air conditioning. Beware…extra fees (per person/day) for swimming etc. and only select rooms have air conditioning. I was lucky it was cool for August. Read the fine print!

I loved my charming room. Perfect for one person. Bathroom had everything I needed and plenty of hot water for a shower. I kept the sliding door open at night since it was cool. Beautiful view from balcony. I enjoyed cappuccino in the lovely dining area in the morning.

As above….tv only in German, also no air conditioning..was provided with a desk fan but was very hot during our stay so meant even with fan on room was very warm and stuffy

Near to Olympic stadium (for concert) excellent transport links (to get into Berlin centre within 20/30 mins) nice staff, clean hotel, breakfast available in restaurant, everything you need (only small criticism tv only in German…as you would expect…but no English channels) obviously after long day would be nice maybe hour of tv before bed but this was nothing

Restaurant on site does not work. It would be nice to have a bar at least.

Great location. Close to public transport. Restaurants and bars are many and nearby. My room on the ground floor had a little garden too with table and seating. Wellness is extra cost but it worth it. Sauna and steambath plus a nice swimming pool with a very strong countercurrent jet. Breakfast was nice too. Fresh fruits good variety of cheese and ham. Eggs and wurst also.

the interior was not my style but everything was clean so only a personal aspect and it was a bit expensive for the Weekend but it was the marathon and festival weekend so we simply had bad luck

the interior has a somewhat old-fashioned style, but overall it is very cozy, the employer who served us at the check in was super friendly although we arrived late in the evening and we had a nice and warm welcome.

Breakfast - cold bacon and scrambled eggs in 4 stars hotel it’s not good. Restaurant closed at 9pm.

The operation is disorganized when it comes to the swimming pool-- mixed messages about the need to reserve it or not, unclear how long it is reserved for-- my first morning when i swam without a reservation I got yelled at by somebody, apparently another guest, and sternly reprimanded about the need to make a reservation; then when i made a reservation 3 people joined me after 10 minutes; then a different receptionist told me no reservation needed. The pool is really small and too shallow, appropriate for 2-3 people and really tight when there are young children. But if you get lucky as i did once, a small number of agile people with intuition, flexibility and grace can successfully swim around each other.
