It was quite a big room with all necessary stuff, it smelled nice and the view from the window was absolutely beautiful. Also the staff was very warm and friendly and made me feel like old friends.

The thin walls between rooms. This was not a major issue as all guests behaved decently. However, even normal talking was noticable.

Basic but clean and comfortable room with riverview. Friendly and competent staff at reception and in breakfast room. Quality of breakfast excellent. Free street parking. Walking distance to city centre.

No elevator for me at under 30 it was fine ,for others it might be a bit more difficult. Breakfast could've had more variety but it had everything you needed.

The balcony was disappointing - not like the pictures! The hotel was slightly run down which added to its charm for us.

The location. It was beautifully situated for everything we wanted to do. It was an independent business and quite quirky. It was the best value hotel of our stay!

A single bed consisted of two beds, therefore it was not comfortable to sleep in the middle.

Nice hotel at a peaceful location, right next to a lake. The receptionist was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast was great. I had an amazing sleep on the comfortable bed.

The room was a bit cold, and the decor is slightly tired, but these were really very minor issues. If there was one thing we might suggest changing, it would be to put up black-out curtains. As it is, you're woken up by the sun rise. That wasn't a problem for us, as we had to get up early anyway, but some guests might want more of a lie-in.

The location is beautiful and within easy walking distance of the Old Town. Our room was spacious and had a view over the river. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast was good. The wifi was secure, which is often not the case. This hotel is excellent value for money.

They presented me with a higher bill when checking out. I told them the price I booked through Booking.com. They corrected it right away, but didn't apologize for the mistake and seemed annoyed that I mentioned the price difference.

Not much to complain. The only thing is that is a little bit far from some markets or shops, minimum 1km to find something. However, this is really a small thing.

The hotel is just in front of a small river and view is beautiful, specially in the breakfast. The breakfast included is simple but well done. The bed was very comfortable. It is located in a good neighborhood in the city.

Free garage places for motorcycles. When asking about parking space outside the hotel the manager said "NO, the garage is better" :-) Very good breakfast with attentive and alert personnel in the kitchen. Small, quiet and very cosy hotel just by the waterside.

The Host took some getting used to with his sense of humour but the service was professional. Car park a little limited but there was a space as advised - difficult to enter and exit though.

The room allocated was on the top floor (which we could have done without !) but it was large and comfortable with lovely views of the River Wakenitz. Very clean and the Breakfast really nice in a lovely dining room overlooking the River.

The bathrooms are very spacious, that's why it's a shame there's only a small shower cabin you can barely move around in A way to be checked in when you arrive late would be nice for people in risk of missing their check-in window.

Breakfast was hearty and well taken care of, along with a very mindful and courteous waiter(?) Beautiful location set on the edge of a lake, on a short distance from the Altstadt. All staff we encountered were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

The towels weren't changed (even though we left them on the floor), and we shared balcony with another room but no one notified us beforehand.

A small fridge would be good.

We had a lovely, big room with stunning views over the water and a small balcony. Staff were very helpful, they arranged for an early check-in, water kettle in the room and gave suggestions about Lübeck. Very quiet, picturesque location, yet close to the old town of Lübeck. We walked everywhere.
