Very child friendly, Perfect place for a long weekend with children. The indoor playground was especially nice. If the weather is good, very nice place for a walk.

    The rather small bathroom.

Very helpful and very friendly. Very fine breakfast and dinners. The owners look at their property and their service from the viewpoint of a guest.

A suggestion related to late check-in: have a box with a code outside of the hotel so people could pick up their keys if they arrive after the reception closes. For us it would have been helpful, as we arrived late and needed to have someone wait for us so they could give us the keys.

Once there, everything was nice and relaxing. The location is good, the room was quiet, the staff is really helpful and friendly and they try to be as helpful as possible. The breakfast was good and it had a lot of choices. The view from the back yard is amazing.

Breakfast was very fulfilling. Lots of variety to choose from. We had dinner in the restaurant as well and all the dishes we ordered were amazingly tasty. It's very convenient to have the restaurant of hotel that good, otherwise there's no option in closeby vicinity. The town is very small and far from the main roads. But once you get to the hotel, certainly you have comfortable beds and nice food.

There's no airco in the room, a fan is provided but it's very noisy and didn't help much. Other than that it's perfect. :-)

Very friendly staff, hotel is a bit out of the way but still very easy to get to. Burg Eltz and Reiksfort Cochem are very close.

Only some nasty insects that bit. Nothing to do with the Hotel.

One could eat as much or as little as one liked. The breakfast bar lacked nothing. Heathen or wellness breakfasts all catered for.

Some small flying insect which bit!!!! It was rife in the area - not the fault of Waldblick.

Nothing was too much trouble. We went to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Everything is spotless. A little or as much as you want for breakfast. Evening meals can be provided. Excellent all the way round

No view from the room under the roof, only velux

Extremely quiet area, comfortable bed, nice evening meal, terrace in the sun for the evening meal, close to several walking paths.

It was in the middle of nowhere on top of some hills & they still charge the same prices as hotels in downtown by the river. The restaurant was also more expensive than restaurants in downtown!

It was very clean & easy to park the car, good wi-fi & the breakfast was totally a positive surprise

Beautiful hotel with many options for accommodations. We enjoyed a double room, wonderful dinner and breakfast. Plus, the room had a screen on the window! Greatly appreciated!! And a fan, too. What a great place to stay while visiting the Huensrueck region.

Interesting surroundings for a short break. In addition, the hotel is close by car, to Eltz Castle and the charming town of Cochem. Recommend.

The breakfast is superb, with a nice mix of European and American options. They also have several play areas for the children, with lots of different toys. This is a fantastic place to stay with kiddos, and a nice litte drive from burg eltz. Can't wait until our next visit!

Around 6 miles from the Mosel River on the edge of a small village there is a wonderful countryside hotel called Waldesblick. They have chickens, sheep, goats, rabbits, cats and cows along with vegetable and flower gardens. "Wholesome" is the word that comes to mind and guests are free to wander about the property to enjoy a bit of this country life. The Waldesblick is also practical with ample parking and located next to a bike path. The rooms are immaculate and include a bottle of water, tourist brochures in multiple languages and wash cloths (something one does not always find in a German hotel). The owners and staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner in their restaurant was fresh and delicious and the breakfast buffet had a lot of variety. My one night there I had the best night's sleep I've had in a long time...8:25 hours at 97% sleep quality! It is a GREAT place for kids.

If you are wanting to stay in the Lahr that is close to Freiburg/Black Forest this isn't the place. It is 3+ hrs further north. Beware when booking online. Google the address first. Lesson learned.

Even though it wasn't where we wanted to be it was a lovely place to visit, staff very helpful and friendly. Good hiking and cycling along the Mosel nearby.

Nice quiet location. Easy drive to attractions on the Mosel. Staff was so friendly! They put a lot of thought into the details to have something available for everyone, from the play room for little kids to the large game room for the older ones.

Great welcome by Heribert and excellent rural location made it easy to explore the region by car.
