Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had a very pleasant stay at Welcome Haus Allgäu in Memmingen. The hosts were very friendly and provided excellent service, making us feel at home. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable and welcoming accommodation in this area!

The street parking was a bit of difficulty, although which did not bother us too much comparing the quality of the accommodation. I knew that the parking could be potenetial a problewm when I made the booking that nothing needs to be complained about.
This is an excellent accommodation., which is clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and helpful to provide clear instructions for the stay. We should come again and stay longer next time.

Fantastic space with lovely modern facilities, all the finer details have been thought of. Beds are comfortable, shower is great, TV has streaming services, and there is a great mini bar with beers available for donation.

The owner of the house is the nicest person you will ever meet. The house is super clean with everything you need, even shoes at home you can wear. The space is big enough for even more than 5 people. wifi was also good and shower worked well.

The area is residential
The house itself is very welcoming and comfortable. It has excellent facilities for a family or a small group accommodation. The owner was very attentive and generous and even though it’s a single house, they make great efforts for the guests to feel at a vacation rather than a “regular” house

Large comfortable apartment on 2 levels. Super clean, very well equipped, easy self check in and very responsive host. Very quiet residential neighborhood, only minus is limited parking availability

Parking at night might be slightly challenging, but I believe there will always be a free spot if you don’t insist on parking directly in front of the house. You don't have to worry about this. We would have appreciated receiving the check-in code earlier, but in the end, everything worked out, and we have no complaints. Very good value for money.
Thank you, Conrad, for a perfect stay at your house. We highly recommend Welcome Haus Allgäu to all travelers who need a place to stay before flying from Memmingen Airport. The house is not far from the airport, and the equipment is exceptionally good — the host truly does his best to make you feel at home. The beds are comfortable, there are two toilets, and plenty of towels. The self-check-in was also very convenient for us, as we arrived late.

Probably the most equipped apartment we’ve ever stayed in. It was much bigger than I imagined with 2 separate floors. The bottom floor has the kids’ room, kitchen and dining room. The top floor has the bedroom, bathroom, and the living room with a surprise corner bar. Most importantly, everything was very clean and comfortable. Since we got there during the evening, we weren’t able to park right in front. Excellent communication with the host as well.
