Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The kitchen lacks a stove and oven. There is a microwave however. The walls are a bit thin so sound transfers easily. The cleaner comes in from 9am well before check out time so that might not suit everyone. Toilet and shower are combined in one room so if that is in use you will just need to hold on and wait.
Clean and comfortable. Great location, easy 20 min walk from train station through the beautiful streets and right in the centre of the old town. It is an apartment with 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom (shared) and a basic kitchen (shared). It is all clean, functional and quite modern (Ikea). Bed was comfortable, linen clean, nice timber floors, room was quite spacious with a desk, wardrobe and a comfortable chair to relax in. Windows can be opened. Room can be key locked. Lots of cafes, restaurants, and sights to see within walking distance. Self check in is easy to use.

Kitchen was very limited,
I had a great time mainly due to my apartment being empty, but if there were people my stay wouldn’t be as good. Tv, and clean bathroom.

The only problem I had is that I tried to communicate with personal via messages and I never got an answer... It is true that I didn't call them because it was not an urgent issue, but I wonder if I had a problem what it would happened...
The room was big, comfortable, absolutely clean and with all the facilities. Well paid money!!

There was only one toilet for three rooms. The toilet and shower were in the same room so if someone was showering the toilet was unavailable.
The room was clean and a good size. The location very good - in the old town & a nice walk from the train station. There was a kitchen with small shared fridge

It was loud last night. Someone was playing piano until past midnight, so i had to close the doors and windows. It's summertime, and they don't have a fan. So it was quite hot. I wanted to fully open the window, but i was afraid someone might climb up from the balcony. Otherwise, the place is really clean and perfect for a 1-night stay or a couple of days on other seasons. It can be really warm during summer.
It's really clean and the place is quite nice.. Easy check in and check out. And really cheap.

Excellent location, easy to move in and out, clean with convenient public transportation nearby. Stores, bars and restaurants were also pretty close by. Kitchen was sufficiently equipped with a small fridge too

The easier error to street name confusion between BERGSTRASSE and other neighbour named BURGSTRASSE. Maybe a short note on the offer presentation welcomed for the traveller non native german speakers. Even the ttaxi driverrs didn`t now about the existing of two neighbour strrets on same area with so very closed names ! This means that it issued difficulti,quiet,,es to find the place very easy.

I imagine that the common room can be a little noisy if your neighbors are not considerate.
Very central location, in the heart of the old city. Clean rooms. A little basic, but everything was as described.

The mattresses were saggy.
The location of the facility was great. It was within a short walking distance to the castle and the town center. It was easy to arrive to, get the keys, and get in without the help of any staff.

Private room in a share house like situation. Room is spacious and clean. Pillow could have been a bit less lumpy. Easy check in and check out process despite that its contactless. Location is close to the old town. Would stay here again.

I was here two years ago in the same room, when everything was great. Now the bed was in a very bad condition, bedroom had cigarette smell, the other guests were in the kitchen all the time (loud), bathroom smells of mold..
