Coffee machine in room - but no coffee! I stayed on a Saturday evening and there was quite a bit of noise from the streets outside. Probably quieter on other nights of the week.

We have been received without any courtesy, smile. Cold and sour! Info, a bit misleading drove us into a bit embarrassing situation, we have been severely admonished, in front of another client…not pleasant for a such hotel. Staff at reception would need probably much better training!

Room s great, spacious, nicely decorated. would need, however a bit of improvement (better towels, bath area). Same need of refreshments in lobby, reception. Anyway, charm of an old, good, hotel still!

Parking was a bit confusing if they could specify in advance which parking lot to use it would be extremely more convenient. Rooms facing the street can be noisy.

Value wise is not the best. Could used more lighting in restroom and mirrors in other places than corners of the room (exception restroom).

The suite was alright! Might be that I was expecting more, but I was overall satisfied. I think it's not as value as it could be, but if you want to splurge a bit and money is not an issue, then it's totally fine. It was clean, comfortable, spacious.

The only reason I’m not rating this property higher is because it was very noisy. both of our rooms faced the street by the main hotel entrance; the noise carried on through most of the night and none of us slept well. I would suggest requesting a room that does not face the street.

This is a beautiful property, with creatively designed rooms. we had two rooms, and each was decorated differently, and was very comfortable. location is very convenient.

Hotel reception lady's support was excellent. Kind support of guidance for parking lot and great recommendation of dinner places. Also, breakfast is great, one of the best breakfast I have ever tasted.

Probably a very nice place in the colder season, but for the summer, air conditioning is provided by a very loud fan. I preferred to simply keep the window open instead. Air conditioning is a luxury, true, in today’s times.

Ideally sited for train travellers but not so great for car drivers. Car Park nearby but not easy to get to as hotel is located next to a tram and bus stop and there are so many cyclists

Quite old interieur (photos at booking.com are well taken and hiding a bit the fact that this hotel could use a general renovation, especially so of the bathrooms). Bathroom in room 417 was antique and not up-to-date! Otherwise an airconditioning would be good to have in every room, as it was very hot on July 25th, but the Dyson airfan in the room made it a bit more acceptable.

Location pretty good and central, very friendly staff, late-night check-in was not a problem. Very good breakfast, with daily newspapers at hand.

The room overlooks the main street. It can be busy late at night and in the mornings. We had to close windows due to the noise. Only drawback was no AC. The owners had placed a fan in the room. It was exceptionally hot when we stayed. I am not a fan of AC, so it did not bother me. I also wear earplugs at night, so this took care of the noise issue. My husband was a little irked by these issues but not enough for it to affect the wonderful experience we had as guests. Street noise - can't be helped.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Each room is themed. Ours was Siebold. It had a strong Japanese influence and was very relaxing. I enjoyed reading about Siebold and his connection with Wurzburg. We had a great little coffee machine which helped to start our day. We chose to relax in our room and did not commit to breakfast. The flowers and complimentary glass of wine in the foyer were welcoming. The attention to detail and personal touches made us feel welcomed. It had an elegant homely feel. Marian and her staff are hard working, friendly and kind. We would stay here again most definitely. Great location. We attended an open air concert at The Residence. It was a 15 min walk to the train station and to the Residence Palace.

it was a bit old fashioned and perhaps outdated, which of course can be charming. I had the misfortune to be there in middle of heatwave and it wasn't well equipped for this.

convenient location, not too far from train station, easy to find. The personal were very friendly. It had everything you could need, but it felt all a bit dated. But that can also be a charm.

Our room was quite small and the shower room even smaller (though everything worked well). Our room faced the street and was noisy with the window open.

The location was great, close to the old town and to the station (we were travelling by train). Friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. Nice decor in our room.
