Would have preferred a Queen/King size bed than two single beds joined together. The beds do move if you try to cuddle with your partner…. 😉

Room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfasts were great, with a large selection to choose from, buffet style. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Hotel was located close to public transport.

Morning cleaning (house keeping) started and ended very late in the morning, which was an in inconvenience because I like to have breakfast wait a hour max then get back to my room to rest for the day. No English TV channels

Warm and north facing room as per request. And any issues I had staff members solved them for me.

The elevator was broken and still they provided me a room on the highest floor in the most far away corner. Thus probably has to do that you book via Booking.com and get Genius discount. Less income for them. Also the main fitness machine broken.

Lift was out of service which made negotiating the rather dark flights of stairs a bit treacherous with luggage. Breakfast quite expensive at €17 per person, per day.

Decent location in the northern half of the city with an easy 8 minute walk to the U-bahn (Pankstraße) Tram stop is around a 5 minute walk. Large array of breakfast options, spacious rooms and parking on-site.

Paid for a suite and were given a single room instead "by mistake". Mistake was quickly fixed, but surprised that this even happened. The bathroom's furniture was damaged in several places, poor maintenance. Had to remind the employees daily about our included breakfast. Rather humiliating. No drinking water available at reception. Staff would redirect us to the vending machine, which had NO water.

Hotel architecture looked amazing, staff was incredibly friendly despite the obvious flaws in their system. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was very varied each day.

The facility was very old, the entrance and the lobby were third class. There wete a lot of space but useless.

I wrote the hotel to let them know our check-in time, but they never answered. Upon our arrival, the receptionist couldn't say if our room had been cleaned and made ready for us. So we were sent up to see if it was clean or not. Three lamps in our room were broken, and when we told that to the receptionist, she kept on saying that they did work. On our second day we came back to our hotell late in the evening and our key card didn't work. We went down to the reception and the receptionist told us we didn't stay there, our booking was gone! We had booked our stay in advance, and it was prepaid. Not ok! In case of a fire, our room would be empty according to their system.

We'd booked the suite, and it was spacious as described in the pictures. It was great with two sinks and both shower and bathtub in the bathroom. When we had trouble with our booking the second night of our stay the night receptionist was really helpful and friendly.

The restaurant and bar not opening during the day or night. I had to order food from Uber to be delivered to me. I know about the times but it was inconvenient mostly of my stay there.

I have sort of sensitivities to sound, and unfortunately the room wasn’t quiet enough. But apart from that I enjoyed staying there.

Extremely friendly and willing to help hotel staff! (and I had a do not disturb sign for two days, so they came to see if I was okay and if there was anything they could do for me - so nice of them)

No sound proof. The guests staying next to me was too loud. Elevator was too slow but I was not in a hurry so it was okay.

The hotel is in Mitte but not exactly in the center. It is easily accessible. For its price, it is more than okay. Beds were very comfy.

The A/C unit did not work during my stay. Apparently, the whole hotel was without working air conditioning. Not ideal during a hot August.

There was no possibilty to make Tee / Coffee or hot water in the room. On request we got a water kettle for the room, but no glasses cups or coffee/tea. As I saw many hotels around the world, that was my first time facing such a lack in a hotel of this class. Some areas of the hotel are difficult to reach if you have a stroller as are not all levels accessible by elevator.

The room was spacious and neat. The original architekture was considered well and gives a special ambience to the hotel.
