Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThis was our second stay with them and just like last time the room smelled of cigarette smoke. The stench seems to get worse at night. I am not sure if it is because of the ventilation system but there is definitely some issue here. The reception was really unaccommodating and couldn't offer us a place to change besides a dingy bathroom in the basement because we were there 20 minutes before check-in time. I would believe a lot of things but I do not believe that this hotel in the middle of nowhere was overbooked and that it would have been impossible to find us a temporary room to change in. Sigh. there really isn't much point going on since like I mentioned, they are the only hotel around so beggars can't be choosers.
The only somewhat suitable hotel in Hennigsdorf. Their key to gaining reservations seems to basically be their monopoly in this small town. That being said, it is not as bad as they could possibly get away with being seeing as they are pretty much the only option.

Polandthe hotel needs a serious renovation in some of the hallways. Some rooms are better than others. - I prefer the rooms in the back of the building.
Easy access to Alstom and the train station. Beds are nice enough but the rest of the rooms are getting very old.

AustriaNo Personal at the reception although it says 24 hours reception in the description. Only security no hotel Staff at the reception. So it was a problem to check in first but the security man helped us out. But to be fair i have to add that it was a last minute booking at 12 o clock in the night so there might have been problems with the transaction. It says parking possible but as we arrived the parking spots were all full.
The security man was really kind and tried to help us! So that in the end every thing worked out.

ItalyRoom cleaning service terrible: only one time during 5 days stay. Poor light in room, some bulbs were not working. Room and objects a little bit smelly and old.
The location is good, about 10min walk from the train station. Gardens around the building, very calm and relaxing town in the peripheral Berlin.

United States of AmericaI specifically book hotels with no parking fee. That was number one reason for picking this hotel. However even though bookings.com promised free parking, parking was 7€ with no chance for negotiation.
Location was great except that the road the hotel is on was closed so I had to spend an extra 15 minutes to get to the hotel.

GermanyFacilities are a bit worn out. Yard parking at extra charge. Mineral water provided turns out to be a part of Minibar assortment and charged extra — which is a bit unusual at given room rate.
Easy access, wide and well shaped stairs, 2 elevators. Nice interior with beautiful architectural paintings. Quiet neighborhood

TurkeyAccording to my habits to pay hotel parking lot is not usual. If I am not the gurst of the hotel yes I should pay... There was no plugs around the bed , they should be increased.
The room was wide as enough. But the furnitures, carpets and design of the room has been modernised and renewed. The bathroom was clean but it should be there sliding panel instead of curtain on the bathtub. The breakfast can be rich with some options.

Czech Republicthis hotel has its best years behind.. I was here some 4 yrs back and it was somewhat allright. Now you can see it is outdated, worn. Cleaning is not done very much in detail.. like finding other peoples hair in bathroom? that wasnt even hard to spot.
Well it has some degree of hotel quality, bed is allright, bed sheets were clean, it has a mini fridge in rooms. Wifi was ok.

NetherlandsIt was noisy in the room - we got a room next to the main road. It was not cosy. In every corner I could see spider ... strange smell in the room ... more attention should be paid to cleanliness. I really don't understand why this hotel has 4 stars?!
Breakfast was okay but I thougt that we will have more options to choose.

FranceSome parts are "old" and not really "maintained" (some seats with cracks for eg and some parts of the bathroom could be more "clean" (Change the shower curtain or even remove and put a fix glass)
Nothing "special" but all in all not that bad at all compare to many comments I had a look on on internet

GermanyThe noise in the room, coming from outside, UNBEARABLE. Horrible. Even with every window closed you can hear each individual person talking from downstairs in the garden, each crow shrieking. A line of pigeon droppings right outside the window, as if it's part of the room's decoration and design. The classic terrible german pillows. Oh, a cleaner unlocked our room with spare keys at one point, though the door was double locked from the inside. All without knocking or asking or anything. All these wonderful things for the low, low price of 100 euros a night.
The check-in process was fast and didn't require unnecessary hoops. Just walking up, showing the booking.com email, and done. Attendant also understood and spoke enough English. Room was "OK". Bathroom was OK, had hot water and shampoo and tissues, but could use more towels. Bed was okay, good to sleep on.
