Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyVery, very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway connecting the room with the bathroom; in the room itself slightly less so. Room was and remained rather cold.
Friendly landlady, uncomplicated communication, easy check-in and -out.

GreeceNice neighbourhood near the public transportation, bus and metro - ca 25 minutes from Berlin town center using the metro - with a local market, restaurants and café. A recommendation for a cosy 5 day holiday stay away from the crowdy city traffic yet not so far from the town's highlights 🙂

GermanyUnfortunately, I could not enjoy the stay: 1. The room is on second floor of a smoker household. According to the strong smell when you enter, I believe there is only some kind of curtains dividing the floors. 2. "Beware of the dog" signs. They warn you not to mess with hosts. 3. No privacy. The walls are super thin. I heard a TV downstairs and people coughing like they were in my room. Other way around, the hosts knew when I come back and I had complaints that I was too late (?!) -- see 4. 4. There is cats walking between your room and the bathroom. My cat allergy was triggered (red teary eyes, itchy face). 5. Prone to scandal hosts. I have a friend over for 20 min. We came after a party (3am) and he wanted to take a shower before taking a first train back to Dresden. After 10 min, the host came running and shouting about a stranger in their house, wasting water and 3am. She and her wife were screaming as me almost hysterically. Also considering point 2, I paid them 50 euros just to make her stop shouting on me. My friend left in terror almost immediately.
The room was exactly as on the pictures, clean, with full blackout curtains and a coffee machine. The bathroom was clean and equipped with shower gels. The property location was also great -- the U6 line (bus service) was 3 min away from the house.

Egypt* it was like airbnb not booking , where i surprised it was an appartment in a building not even a small hotel in a building what sometimes i used to stay in Europe. * finding the building was not easy cause no sign to show there is a place for booking!! * METRO station close to the location is through under renovation so it is closed and must get a bus , i am either into Metro or walking so i prefered to walk about 1km++ in a -7C!! * it was almsot like small appartment in the last floor which seemed to be connected some how with appartement owner in the lower floor , appartment includes my room , external private bathroom and another closed two rooms. * my room with NO KEY to be closed which make me sleep while door is closing and a chair behind!! * there was a machine to prepare coffee and tea which was great BUT NO instructions how to use !! * new guests advised to get owner mobile numbe before going only to faciliatate communication whatever over mobile or whatsapp as far as COST is attractive.
cost - wifi - 500 meter far a nice lebanese cafe where i had my breakfast -owner tried to help as much as possible my early check in 8:0am!

PolandIt was extremely cold, the heating was completely turned off. I turned on heating inside the room, but it took few hours to feel comfortable. Unfortunately it was almost impossible to take shower in such cold bathroom with ceramic tiles.
Owner was very nice and communicative, room was clean.

GermanyLocated close to the train station in a quiet area with a view on a park. The host was friendly, easy to arrange the key-handover & very accomodative of the late check-out. Facilities were very clean, the room had a balcony & basic kitchen appliances allowing for a morning tea/coffee. All-in-all was a very pleasant unproblematic stay ideal for 1/2 nights, were u not to look for anything fancy, but offering all the basics & a great value for money.
