Friendly staff. The room was a nice size and the bathroom appeared to have recently been updated. We also enjoyed breakfast - they had a good selection and everything was fresh, We selected this hotel as we were driving through Trier and did not want to stay in the city.

Very soft pillows (which is common in Germany, buy the way). After first night we asked for extra pillows, they were delivered and the problem was solved.

Good location to explore Trier, especially if you travel by car. Good breakfast.

the bedroom could have been more modern . it was a bit of a wierd contrast of having brandnew luxury bathroom then stepping back to the 1930s bedroom

nice bathroom nice an modern but bedroom was very dated and old , i assume that the rooms are being renovated as the bathroom looked about two weeks old nice and modern but room was very old

    Nothing

Excellent service both at the restaurant (used it for brkfst only) the reception and people doing the rooms. They DO know how to cater for gluten free people. Minutes from city center but more quiet. They do have a restaurant.

The room does not have air conditioning. On a hot summer night could be a bit discomfort. The parking opposite hotel is free, however not to many spots available. The owner helped me to find a spot along the street.

Very nice clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Backside hotel cosy terrase, can order drinks, different owner though not belong to hotel.

The shower head needed relocation if faced the curtain and wet the room (minor fault)

Stopped off to visit Trier (a stunning place) the owner was very helpful both with parking and an extra night stay when one of our cars developed a fault. Restaurant and bar on site, 10 minutes by bus from Trier highly recommended

A little expensive for its location. We went for a walk could not find one place open for a beer.

We had two nights here, very nice room, seating area sofa and arm chair and balcony, food very good but first night dinner very slow very busy, second night much better, breakfast good choice and plenty of it,

Room very warm and traffic noise meant windows had to be closed, no fan or a/c. Busy roadside location.

Crisp and clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was very good value at E6 and lovely breakfast room. The adjoining restaurant provided outside relaxation and delicious food at reasonable prices without having to drive elsewhere as 4K from Trier,

No AC -- and we hit a hot day!! Either open the windows and hear the traffic or swelter :-(. But, we found that the traffic dies out around midnight and one can open up the windows.

Very well appointed room. Excellent sound insulation -- though it is situated on a major road, one just cannot hear the traffic once the windows are closed (and there in, is the issue!). Very caring owner/manager.

Bathroom not going to win any style awards but everything worked. We had a little beetle in the bed, just the one so not sure if it was due to bad cleaning or bad luck.

Location is a little far from the city and nothing to do at night in that area, but the bus stop is literally across the street!

Room was very small, hot (no A/C), sharp wooden corners on the furniture left we with several cuts on my shins! Also, no in-room safe.

The food was awesome! Both the breakfast, and the dinner at the co-located restaurant, were fantastic!

Bed covers (duvets) much too hot and no alternative (thin blanket or sheet) available. As there was no place to get a cup of tea, coffee or glass of wine upon arrival, or at any other time, it would have been nice to have hot water kettle and teabags or instant coffee available in the room. Also, no refrigerator to keep cold drinks or fruit. The restaurant next door didn't open until 18.00 and no nearby shop to get stuff.

The room was very nice, but a few minor additions would have been much appreciated. See other comment!

Not sure whether the restaurant was open at all in the evening (our fault, we could have asked), but they certainly didn't advertise its availability - missing out on potential revenue here? Anyway, we found an excellent inn just a short drive down the road for our dinner :-)

We booked this hotel at relatively short notice when we required accommodation close to our route. The position is very convenient, only a few minutes off the motorway, but has a 'village feel' to it. New reception and breakfast area had been added to an obviously older hotel. Room was well-equipped and comfortable; no need to spend money on updating to the latest trendy designs when the furniture is perfectly functional! Breakfast was very varied and freshly prepared, any empty plates were quickly topped up.
