I told the hotel staff through the chat system that I would be checking in late and asked them to hold a key for me. However, when I arrived at 11:00 pm (23:00), there was nobody at the reception desk and it was a very cold night. I tried calling the hotel, but I couldn't get a hold of anyone. Luckily, I saw a staff member walking around outside the hotel. He told me I was fortunate he was there because otherwise, I would have had to wait until morning to get into my room. Moreover the room without kettle and the curtains are not lightproof.

The hotel was great. The owner was really nice. Easy to get to (we drove) and the town has many choices for food and shopping when you’re not hitting the slopes or the trails. Our balcony had stunning views of the Alps.

Need to pay the tourist tax in cash, and also need cash for the security deposit. The only table was the coffee table, so while I was able to easily cook in the kitchen, we had to eat sitting on the floor and on the couch. Outside of town, and not close to skiing (you can see the ski jumps from the room, but the walk down to them is at least 30 minutes). The walls to the apartment were thin, and we could hear everything from the room next door.

Free parking in a large lot right across the street from the hotel. Great location for hiking, but need to drive for any skiing, and a ways out of town (and up the mountain). Nice bathrooms. Apartment had stove and refrigerator, as well as water kettle and coffee pot. Quiet location, with excellent view.

We were able to walk to town for dinner at night with a young child, but the walk may be challenging for older folks or those with limitations. The beds were a little small for me at 1.9m 115kg.

The staff were very welcoming and for us good customer service goes a long way. The breakfast was one of our favorite parts, with a wide variety of light breakfast options and amazing views. Free parking adjacent to the building was a plus. It's definitely a relaxing spot to come home to after hiking in Garmisch. Lots of space for the family to spread out.

View from the room is excellent. You can see the ski slopes and the mountain peaks right in front of you. Morning sunrise is a beautiful sight and worth.

The place is wonderfully quiet. You need a car or cab to get there even if it's not so far away from Garmisch. Free parking is available in the street in front of the hotel. Depending on the room you may have a beautiful view. And from the terrace you have an amazing landscape! Recommended!

No A/C or fans in the room made it quite hot and difficult to sleep at night. The motion activated light in the hallway would come on all the time making sleeping a challenge - we finally tripped the breaker and solved that problem. For the price we paid per night, breakfast should have been included - 14 euro per person was quite excessive

Nice location on the outskirts of town, plenty of free parking in the gravel lot across the street. The view of the Ski Jump and mountains was amazing. Nice shower and separate tub in our bathroom was very convenient.

The bed room without a door, when we cooked the smell of cooking reaches inside the bed room, the check in process are taking tooo long time by the staff and the timing is at 3pm better to change it at least at 12 pm or 1 pm, due to summer season and very hot weather in Europe.

The property is well designed well decorated, the kitchen/ kitchenette are perfect.

The check-in and checkout process. You can only arrive and leave at specific times, which was quite inconvenient. Fortunately for us, the staff did us a favor and adjusted the times.

The staff was incredibly helpful. The views are spectacular and overall it was really cozy and clean. Would recommend.

We had difficulty with the shower curtains. Floor always got pretty wet, thus bathmat was always soaked. Maybe a bathmat a day or a mop in the bathroom would have helped. But the bathroom was really spacious and nicely furbished, very rare to see both shower AND bathtub in holiday apartments!

Well furbished kitchen. The presence of an oven makes a big difference. Good knives and fryingpan. Extremely good coffee maker: you can make it from coffee beans! The place was clean and nicely furnished.

Not within walking distance to downtown (or it would be a long walk up/down a hill), but we knew that going into it so weren't upset, it is just not super convenient. Really need a car to stay here.
