We did not like at all the arrangement of the room with the washbasin in the middle of the room the shower in another corner and a very simple toilet in another one. No fridge in the room.

Hotel is very nice but we would have expected much more for a 5-star hotel.

    Nothing

The surroundings are fantastic with direct view to Vejle Fjord. Beds are comfortable, room size good and our room had a big terrace facing west. The outdoor SPA area is great. The restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price.

The spa wasn't very clean and well kept. Nothing in the spa was a super experience. Thats a shame, especially when you pay 250 danish kroner a day per person to get acces to the spa.

"The Shining" or "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" catches the ambiance of this Hotel. The corridors of Comwell Kellers Park is like Overlook Hotel where the little boy frantically pedals his kiddy car. The hotel is NOT family friendly, even I as an adult felt the bad vibes of "REDRUM" (read backwards). At first the surroundings looks inviting, but soon there is a creeping feeling like in Lord of The Rings, when the Hobbits leaves their homeland and get lost in a cursed forest. I had no idea of Comwell's history. It's an old mental hospital, where a lot of forced sterilization took place, mental patients were locked in boxes and suffered immersing in ice cold water for long periods of time. Bad taste to turn a mental hospital into a hotel. I knew nothing of the hotel's history. Even the wall decorations resembles cages and blood running down the walls. The Comwell should be turned into a mausoleum so we never forget the atrocities committed there. See attached photos. #1 "Overlook hotel" 1901 #2 The corridors #3 Wall decoration #4 Former inmates #5 Johan Killer, Founder Regular feed back Children are NOT allowed to use the pool. The restaurant was fully booked, we could only get pizza, no other choices available. The pizza was served in a paper box, with plastic utensils and with a tiny standard paper tissue (like in a jail). The room was hot. The amenities was one hard soap for three persons. The water pressure in the shower barely got the soap off my left arm. The WiFi didn't work. "Gretchen" at the front desk barely spoke English. But the parking is free, she said with a sinister smile. 1 star out of 10. Stay away.

The TV was big and had a HDMI input for the PS/4

For the money paid for the stay one would expect higher standard of the rooms, service and facilities. The staff varies from extreme lovely and nice people to those who are not interested in being friendly and making sure that the guests are comfotable and enjoying the stay.

It was stinking incredible of chlorine everywhere in the house. You cannot open windows, then it gets worse. The house by itself is very loud. Till the midst of the night you can hear people walking around (flipflops from Spa-guests), the music from the restaurant and bar, which is NOT nearby and the talks other guests have. Not very relaxing, to say at least.

    Nice building, nice designs

The breakfast buffet only had the bare requirements for a continental, albeit with 5 star ingredients. Although this is fully acceptable, it was a bit out of tune with the general feeling of this hotel going above and beyond.

The staff was very accommodating, the room well furnished and comfortable, and we generally had a very delightful stay.

rather poor, simple breakfast, menu for dinner at that time only possible in the brasserie which menu choice was limited of average quality. Some renovation works outside near to the room, not nice to see, however necessary and was not really disturbing.

    very nice hotel, good location.

The corridor to our rooms was a mess, with towels and renovation materials on the floor. It was just not professional. Even worse is that the manager does not see that as a problem. I have never experienced such a thing at any other five star hotel.

The price versus value for money. I took an offer through booking.com. I paid extra for getting a suite. In total I paid 4.000 kr. For 2 nights and all access to the spa. However, for that price I expect a proper suite with bath tub, nice view and real double bed. What we got was a big room, two single beds (hastens does not matter, if it is single beds). Put together, normal bathroom with shower and a very small tv (B&O does not matter if you cannot see it).

The spa is amazing. It costs 350 kr. For a 1 day pass if are not a guest. And costs 250 kr. For your full stay as a hotel guest. Breakfast buffet is awesome - really high quality and offering.

Brasserie staff were great though service was very slow. Our food was delivered from kitchen to the brasserie which had to travel some distance and was left sitting on a side for over five minutes which meant food was cold. We had to wait half an hour for dessert.

Peaceful location and pleasant surroundings. Helpful staff.

The main Sauna can be much higher in temperature. It was at 60 C only. But i think it was just for that day, because people who have been staying there longer said that temperature was much higher previous days.

Breakfast was awesome! Great variety, delicious! Spa has 3 different saunas, 2 indoor pools. The outside hot tubs were nice, you can enjoy watching beautiful night sky.
