The only problem was the 3rd bed for our 19 yr old was a roll away type and not very comfortable as it sagged in the middle.

The hotel was centrally located in the center of town. The breakfast was very good, typical European breakfast with bread, cheese, salami, jams, butter, juices, coffee, and Danish pastries. Our room for a family of three was very large, studio type with a kitchen and table for four. We were in the front of the hotel street level. No stairs to climb.

Close to the highway from Rodby to Copenhagen. Nice small village with excellent opportunity for a short walk along the lake. Friendly admosphere and hotel staff. Hotel, rooms and food might not meet the latest comfort and luxury standards for all visitors, but it offers a typical Danish environment and good value for money for an overnight stay.

Low cost/simple breakfast buffet, no danish wienerbrød to be found - you get what you pay for

A la carte dinner in the restaurant, large portions. Outside patio/terrace.

Poor location, smelly room, restaurant closes at 8pm. Staff's idea of cleaning tables is to brush things on to floor. Stale bread for breakfast.

    Little to recommend

Ebsens is more charming than pretty. If youre looking for a luxurious hotelexperience, this isnt it. Its simple and quite old, but clean, functional, friendly and close to everything.

Location in the middle of Maribo is great, couldnt be better. A calm and quiet hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Facilities fairly basic and old. Bit of a challenge for older travellers to pull heavy luggage up the stairs (no lift)

Only 15 mins from ferry back to Germany. Excellent smorgasboard meal available at night. In centre of Maribo so you can go for a walk and explore the city centre easily. Free parking across the road.
