Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaRooms are a bit small. They charge you for everything. Luggage storage and gym and kitchen. Check in is strictly after 3 even if room is ready.
Great location. This place is huge like a hotel with a bunch of facilities. Had a lovely community dinner.

New ZealandAir con in the room didn't function well so the temperature was a bit muggy for us. Although the amenities were excellent, there were additional fees to use the kitchen, Futsal court and gym separate from the room fee which although would be okay for people staying for longer periods (as they're one off fees per person for the duration of your stay) but didn't make sense for those just staying a few days like ourselves and we felt a lesser fee for short term stay should have been an option. Other guests weren't great at keeping the kitchen clean which was annoying, but not necessarily the hostels fault. Bathroom supplied soap, but the dispensers weren't easy to use and we had trouble getting enough soap out to properly clean with.
Staff were largely accommodating. Friendly and helpful and all spoke great English which was helpful for us. Facilities and activities were excellent with a fully equipped kitchen on the beautiful rooftop, water refill stations, several bars, a great gym, laundry room and Futsal court and a full timetable of hostel events, fitness classes and walking tours. Excellent location 5 minutes from central train station, Tivoli Gardens and within 20-30 minutes of Nyhavn canal and many other attractions. Well priced compared to other hostels. Luggage storage facilities available and useful if you arrive before check in time and want to explore or for after you've checked out.

AustraliaEverything in this city is pretty expensive just the way it is. No free luggage storage but there are paid lockers.
A great location near public transport and main parts of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, loved having our own bathroom forna 4 berth dorm and enjoyed the hostel dinner where you could mix and get to know other travellers, for a good price too.

ItalyEverything was really good, to make it perfect I think I would have liked a privacy curtain for the bed, as it is now common in many hostels.
The hostel is in the city center, connected by bus (5c) to the airport and to the main train station (400 Mt.). Also the amenities include a gym, a venue, cinema, yoga room and all day activities. There's even a Star Wars themed pin-ball machine in the basement! The rooms are cozy and clean, really good mattresses and pillows. the en suite is large enough to move comfortably and the shower is nice and separated by glass doors. shampoo/shower gel provided (with dispensers) and hair dryer is present in every room. the staff is very kind and helpful and the drinks served at the bar (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are delicious. within 5 minutes walk there are also 2 supermarkets and a bank with atm machine. People staying at the hostel of all age groups, friendly environment.

RussiaThe bed might should he harder. There is no curtain. An extra socket and/or USB could be a good advantage.
In the center of the city. Clean. Everything is new. Most of the things are well-thought-out. Various activities are offered for guests, including sport classes and city tours! This is cool! A great place to stay for several days.

United KingdomWe booked a 4 bed pod and to be honest, the room couldn't have been any smaller. Only 1 person at a time can move about to get dressed etc so be prepared for that. The photos give you the impression the room is bigger. Also wasn't aware that you had to bring or purchase a padlock for the storage cabin. Would have been good to have seen this within the room description.
The hotel was a hype of activity as there was always something happening. Food and drink are not overpriced, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and met expectations.

LithuaniaThe rooms could have been cleaner, there was some dust, which wasn't the best thing. But it was mainly on the ground, the beds were clean.
An excellent place for solo-travelers. If you are looking a place only to sleep and also to cook some food (for me it was an important part of the trip) I would definitely recommend this place. The kitchen is well-equipped, the staff is friendly.

United KingdomThe room was very very small for 6 people. All beds were booked for the night and all 6 of us had suitcases with us. The lockers in the room were only for handluggage so we really struggled to have enough space for all our luggage.
Very clean room (6-bed female dorm), beds were more like pods which was nice. Staff were friendly and large lockers for luggage in the basement available. I didn't use any other facilities so cannot comment on kitchen/social areas etc.

IrelandThe room was very small. Literally felt like sardines but were only in the room to sleep, so it was ok. Would have been nice to have a table or a shelf in the room. Especially when the cleaners come in, as we ended up using the window sills or beds to put our bags/ purchases.
Very convenient location, short walk to Central Station.

GreeceThe ceiling was leaking the moment we turned on the faucet but we told the staff and they said it's a permanent problem in copenhagen due to humidity. Apart from that nothing too serious to mention.
Great location, close to the station by foot. The staff was very friendly, the online check in was easy to do so, the room was ok but nothing crazy. It was comfortable for one night we actually stayed. We had a pleasant stay, it's definitely a place you can meet lots of people for sure.
