Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenHot and humid in the hotel corrridor, no AC just a small fan. Very loud noice from the trains. Window was hanging on for dear life. Shady area, felt ghetto.
Close to the train/bus station. Self check in. Breakfast okay. Large beds, not supercomfy but not horrible.

United StatesStrange area, lack of parking
We booked this property last minute as it was the only place left around Roskilde. Check in was incredibly easy (we never even interacted with staff it was all on a kiosk) and the breakfast was delicious! The rooms were big but the place was just in a weird area. I'm sure it's fine if traveling for a conference!

United KingdomThe room had no air conditioning and as we arrived on a very hot day it was hot and stuffy. Even with the windows open there was no air coming in. We were provided with a second fan which made little difference. We also asked for a quite room but were given one at the front and we could hear noise from the road below and seagulls making a noise nearby.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the bathroom was modern and a good size.

United KingdomShabby & dirty on the outside. Weeds growing everywhere & appears neglected. Not a good look for a first impression. Inside the colour scheme is drab. Staff don’t appear friendly & don’t acknowledge you. This could be a lovely establishment if only it was ‘loved’
We liked the hotel for its proximity to the station. Breakfast buffet was good.

DenmarkThe beds were ok, it was clean, the breakfast was fine, nothing fancy but ok. We just had one night there, on a very short notice. All in all fine. Could of course use a little up date on interior, but at that price range you can absolutely live with it 😉👍

FranceWe didn't know we had to put a sign on the door to have the rooms cleaned and bed done. We only found out when we informed the desk the following day
The distance to the train station going to Roskilde or Copenhagen is perfect.

LithuaniaAlmost impossible to find any receptionists; they seem to be involved in other hotel tasks. The reception is unreachable by phone. Getting to the room was a little hard, considering that I was traveling with a foot injury. Front door is spinning and there is no visible front access for crutches. No baggage trolleys, long corridors, if one travels with many belongings, access becomes pretty hard.
The hotel is very simple, automated, and is great for transit overnighters. We took Deluxe Double, room 222 was pretty spacious and had a good workspace, a clean bathroom, and a comfortable bed.

AustriaBreakfast choice is not so great and coffee is not good. Staff was not helpful in breakfast time. More choice would be nice. Room is fine but lamps did not work and it is little bit run down. It could be better for the price we pay
the hotel is fine for 1 night as business and parking was good. Reception staff was very friendly and helped out. WiFi worked

GermanyBathroom was a little 1970s. Old bath tub, which could be ok, but also old tiles and old (silicon) joints. Escpecially for the latter one there is no excuse, as these can and should be regularly refreshed at low costs with almost no "downtime" for the room. Given the relatively high price I would expect a little more of the bathroom.
Breakfast was quite good, except the "industrial" scrambled eggs. Free parking, although a little hard to find. Staff was very kind (when availbale ;) ). Room was clean, nothing special but just what you expect from a normal hotel room.

United KingdomThe room was hot (no air conditioning). Leaving the window open meant a lot of noise as there were tables and chairs just outside my room window until late at night. Despite asking for the room to be serviced, there was no cleaning, clean cups, or replenishment of coffee, tea, etc. for the whole 5 days of my stay. The bathroom was small, and the wash basin was very small. Trying to wash my tea stained mugs was quite tricky. I would often complain about inadequate water pressure in a hotel shower but in this case it was extremely high - it hurt my bald head :)
The breakfast was good but it was like a scrum due to the excessive number of guests in the dining room - there were two coach loads of tourists all trying to have breakfast at the same time. If it wasn't for that, the breakfast would be the highlight of the hotel. There was a large desk in the room and it was well serviced by power points.

FranceI have paid for a better room and got a better room, but just next to the elevator entrance so I slept from midnight to 5h00 after that I counted the amount people taking the elevator. This problem could be solved with better entrance doors to the room
