Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyDog fee a bit expensive - especially considering you have the option to clean yourselves and it doesn't really cause them extra work
We stayed in a 6-person cabin with 6 people and a dog. It was clean and comfy, though a little on the small side for 6 people. I think it's perfect for a group of 4. The campsite has amazing facilities for children. Helpful staff, late check in was a breeze.

DenmarkThe lack of toilets in the houses is a problem. You want to go to the toilet really badly and you have to run, plugging yourself with your finger, to have time to carry the contents to the toilet😅

PolandThe price was a bit excessive in comparison to what you get for it - that you have to bring your own bed linen, clean everything etc. A bit far from any shops but it was not an issue as we had brought our own food with us.
Nice surroundings, very calm area with nice views, close to Rabjerg Mile. A cottage was nice and of an appropriate size. We were happy for the possibility to bring our dog with us. The place was clean and cozy, there was a parking spot and a lot of green areas around. It was nice that the camp area was not crowded at this time of the year.

United StatesPerfect location, cozy and clean. Read the fine print and bring your own sheets/towels OR arrive in time to pick them up. We stayed in winter, when obviously fewer amenities were available, so we can't comment on those. Clean, comfortable, and safe.

Germanythe bed is in a very small chamber next to the living room and is itself rather small; a small bench or someplace to put your boots wouldve been nice since the roof overlapping the door is very narrow so when it rains (as it did) everything outside gets wet; their policy states that you have to properly clean your cottage before the check out, even mopping the floors, which is super fun when it rains outside and you dont know where to put all your stuff and your boots etc
tiny but very cozy cottage, shared bathrooms, but maybe just 100m away, the bathrooms itself were super tidy and spacious, the also have a lots of stuff (outdoor pool, minigolf) that we didnt use and an indoor pool with a hot tub and a sauna which was just a dream come true after a long days hike, the kitchenette was well equipped although it couldve used a toaster

EstoniaOur key cards didn't work, luckily, the staff member saw us struggling and let us in. It was not entirely obvious how to sort garbage there properly.
The cabin where we stayed was not too big but had everything that was necessary for our comfortable stay. The staff have provided us with a child bed and chair. There were nice facilities (playground, swimming pool etc.) on the campsite.

PolandOne thing that could be improved is the wifi -- totally inadequate for work calls (I was on a workation).
I stayed in a small cottage in June 2024. The location is very quiet -- close to the dune and about 8 minutes drive to the sea. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need to cook, however it's a self-catering cottage -- you're expected to clean the house yourself afterwards. There is an additional charge for bed linen (if I remember correctly, about 20 euros).

CanadaEverything worked well, no negatives really.
The cottage is well-equipped with everything you need (except from a microwave). Small, but well laid out, and very cozy. It’s possible to order food from the store at the entrance. It’s expensive but very convenient.

BelgiumCan't really think of anything. Just don't forget your bed linen, otherwise costs for renting it will be added.
The campsite was near Rabjerg Mile, which you should really visit. We took our bikes and it was a ten minute ride. Located nicely, not too far from Skagen (20-30m with car). We had a holiday house for four people, which four us was very spacious since we are travelling with 2. The house was clean and had a small kitchen. But there was also a big kitchen with microwaves and ovens nearby.

DenmarkThere’s no toilet in the cottage so we have to go to public toilet during the evening sleeping time. It’s not very convenient and so cold.
I like their activities and swimming pools inside and outside, and different shows like dance show, rock show. The cottage, public toilets, public shower rooms, and kitchen are clean. The staffs are very nice and smiley.

PolandThe house was dusty & there were spiderwebs all around and the overall feeling I got was that cleaning was done superficially, this for me was from the beginning a turn off and I remained with this feeling of "let's just get over the night and move on". So I did not enjoy the place too much.
It was nice to have our own little house with onsite bathroom and working shower with hot water.

BelgiumI did a reservation on booking. Com for the night 6 to 7 September at 5pm for an arrival between 9 and 10pm. When I was looking for a night on The website, I selected hotel with free parking and private bathroom , then I get that cabine for 700dkk, so I selected it and paid. When I arrived to the camp at night everything was obviously closed, but I did not get any message explaining how I can enter. I called the contact number of the camp and he was not able to find my reservation and told me he will try to contact the responsible and will call me back. He was not able to reach the responsible so I had to wait in my car for about 30 min before he linked me with the responsible. She kindly informed me how to get in with a code she provided me by phone but said that for the price I paid there is no private bathroom. That was not correct as I booked with private bathroom. It seems that when selecting the cabine for 4 it is written with private bathroom but then after payement, it is not private anymore but common ! Which is not convenient! I asked the lady if i can pay more and get the bathroom but she said there are no cabine available anymore. At the end she asked me to wait in the current cabine and she will come to check the situation. After more than an hour waiting, she came and kindly up graded my cabine and gave me the private bathroom. So i was waiting in the cold and night and in the small cabine for almost 3 hours before I get my final cabine. I wad exhausted after 400km driving. This is really annoying and not expected from booking. Com reservation. As I did not took print screen for my reservation, i did a simulation for the night 7 to 8 Sept, and I showed the camp's responsible the screen and she clearly said that those information are wrong on booking. Com,and that for 700 dkk you cannot have private bathroom as it is written on the website. In conclusion there are a lot of error information provided by booking and that was very inconvénient.
