I wish there was a microwave in common dining area.

During my first night, I had to stay at a different hotel due to a big group who were there. Refborg staff prompty let me know of the situation, and made alternate arrangement at nearby hotel - including transportation. I didn't have to worry about other charges from this other hotel. The staff was friendly, and quite helpful with bus/train schedules and other questions you might have.

Very small windows, something needs repairment (curtains were falling, toilet door not closing, water going out off shower cabin).

Located close to Legoland and Legohouse. Staff is eager to help you.

After 10 pm nothing happening in Billund; no restaurants or cafes were open. Early to bed, early to rise, kind of place.

Arrived late around 10 pm due to a delayed flight; key was left at desk with a friendly welcome note. Missed dinner, hotel restaurant was closed; in fact, nothing was open except airport fast food. Very clean and comfy bed. Good breakfast in the morning. Ck out at 11am, but they held our luggage, so we visited the LEGO hse. Not much happening in Billund, unless you are a LEGO enthusiast.

    - Unfriendly staff - Even as a guest, I did not get a seat for dinner in their own Restaurant - wifi does not work in my room - Standard breakfast, for the room rate I expected more - expensive

No early breakfast in the offer however they organized some early morning meal especially for us when asked.

Beds were great - comfortable and quiet what is important when 3 persons sleep together :-) Also outside the rooms the are nice common areas for leaisure, relax and place for children to play with Lego bricks :-)

Booked between Christmas and New Year, which meant restaurant/breakfast facility was closed. No coffee or tea facilities were provided; a small water cooker in the room would have been nice during this closure of the restaurant. Supermarket next door and bakery within walking distance. A little bin within the bathroom would have been convenient.

Location towards the Lego House, a one minute walk.

The hotel does not have a lift so it'd be 11 out of 10 if there's a lift!

I love the atmosphere, the overall design of the hotel, the neatness of details, kindness of the staff and passionate owner who show me the amazing organic collection in the gift shop. Loved every bit of it!

We thought it was unusual to have no staff available on the Sunday night. This meant that we had to make alternative arrangements to be picked up by a taxi for our journey to the airport.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. One of our party has a gluten intolerance and she was very happy at being accommodated.

The price was not easy to determine from the listing on booking.com. If I had not read the details and interpreted them, I would have been surprised by the additional fees added.

The hotel was nice and provided nice comforts. It's location within 5 minutes walk from LEGO House was also an attraction. The breakfast buffet was absolutely excellent.

Like many Danish hotels, pricey for a 3 star hotel in a small town, but not unexpected. Bathroom is very basic but clean and functional. Room was musty but this is common in humid climates.

For Denmark a solid hotel overall. Room was spacious, common spaces were unexpectedly nice. Breakfast was good by local standards. Restaurant was good. Staff was friendly.

The room was a little unfinished. A little attention to detail needed – no tread on the floor between bathroom and bedroom, so all of us tripped up a number of times.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice selection of gifts you could purchase, including wines and souvenirs. Very easy to get to and from, with the summer time complimentary city bus. It was handy being next to a supermarket (when travelling with kids its very useful!).

The rooms in the far end, at the back, are looking on to a parking. The problem is that several delivery and cleaning trucks made quite a lot of noise at 7 am on some days. The room was clean, with a small bathroom with shower and toilet, but for two adults and two children, it was a bit cramped (for a family room).

Very good and varied breakfast, excellent location in Billund, near most of the restaurants and shops. The airport, Legoland and Lalandia are very well connected via the free shuttle bus 384 that stops right at the hotel (towards Legoland: get off already at Astvej ved hotellet, it's 100m to Legoland's entry). When staying late in Legoland, the beautiful Skulpturstien leads straight back to the center.

I missed a little refrigerator in the room to cool our water and drinks. I was not happy to be charged extra if I wanted to pay with credit card. It didn´t say when I booked the room. It said that they wouldn´t charge any other extras when we pay at the end of our stay. Please add that to the description so that people can have cash to pay with.

There was no lift and the staircase was uncomfortable and could be dangerous especially for elderly people and children. I suggest that a handrail should be installed on the opposite (wider) side of the stairs.

The hotel has been modernized and is in a very good state of repair. It is very clean everywhere. The rooms are cleaned daily. The bathrooms in the rooms are reasonably spacious and water pressure is perfect. The food at the restaurant is very good but a bit on the expensive side. The staff and owners are very helpful. There is free parking on the hotel grounds. The hotel is 5 minutes away from the airport, legoland and Lalalandia by taxi. There are other restaurants very close by and there is a supermarket 50 meters away.

I was extremely disappointed in the supposedly "family room" which was given to us. It was no more than 16m2 with a bunk bed squeezed into one corner. When we complained to one of the owners he told us that the rooms were being "renamed" and this was the smaller one. Absolutely no compensation was made and as this is the only hotel in Billund apart from the Legoland Hotel, we had no choice but to sleep there. I couldn't help but think we were put into that room because of the rate offered through Booking.com. The beds were uncomfortable and creaked every time we turned. I'll not be going back to this hotel!!

I have to give praise to the restaurant team as the dinner was excellent.

it's probably one of the best family run hotels in the legoland area. very trendy, very authentic, very stylish. with a wonderful organic shop and winery, and with a very nice high quality food restaurant (probably, the only one non-junk food place in the neighborhood). 10 min walking distance to legoland. very friendly and helpful staff.

If you are visiting Legoland, this hotel is a great choice. It's a short walk or you can take the free shuttle. The decor of the hotel is soft neutrals of gray and white, which is exactly what is needed after the bright primary colors of Legoland. The restaurant is excellent; I had a delicious summer soup of fresh peas with shrimp. Plus they have a little shop where we bought gourmet gifts to take home. I also loved the beautiful roses throughout the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

There is no lift, meaning you should not come with heavy luggage if you get a room on second floor. Apart from this, very nice hotel.

The room is a basic, but has 4 beds and a tv. Some improvements are still possible (e.g. a shelve to put your stuff on in the bathroom).

The staff and owners are very friendly and of great help when you have questions. The food in the restaurant is also excellent. The hotel is located in the city center on walking distance of Legoland (10 minutes).
