This is a pearl. Very cozy place, and the hosts are extremely nice and service minded. The recommendations we got exceeded our expectations. Went there for a weekend to get away from the city, hike, and relax. Would stay here again, no doubt!

Very friendly and helpful hosts, rich and excellent breakfast with many homemade options, rooms were clean and tidy and had good beds, nice area for walks, possibilty for leisure activities on the site, We were alllowed to park our bicycles in a shed overnight.

The room was a bit hot. My room was just next to the inner garden so I couldn't keep the window open because people were walking by the window all the time. You can also hear noices from the other rooms.

Breakfast was excellent! The atmosphere was also really nice in the area.

We are an Australian family of 4 with 2 kids. We stayed in a quad room with shared bathroom. The room itself was clean, offering a simple yet comfortable experience with fold-out bunk beds and a convenient basin with running water. The shared bathroom, which we had to share with just one other room, was impeccably maintained and met all our needs. There was two large shared kitchens with everything you need for preparing meals, plus a big outdoor BBQ. Plenty of spacious shared areas including a lounge room and a games room with table tennis and table football. The location was quiet and picturesque set in the forest off the main road and 15 min walking distance to the nearest supermarket, bike hire and seafood shack. The whole place felt authentically Danish, thatched roofs, red washed walls and cozy interiors tastefully decorated. Several Danish families were also staying there during our 2-night visit, making it a friendly and enjoyable experience.

The room is quite small but has a certain charm. It certainly reminds you of your childhood going on holiday with your parents. There is no separate shower cabin in the bathroom.

Having to pay extra for bed linnen and towels feels a bit outdated. There is no reason not to include it as the price is average, not cheap. The rooms could use some modernisation as they are a bit old and worn, but they are clean and comfortable.

The B&B is located in a very nice place. It is super quiet and offers different places to enjoy the sun, go for a walk and relax. The breakfast is exceptionally good. Lot's of home made food which tastes great. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

This cosy Wandelheim is a secret. The main building is separated from the sleeping buildings, which allow for quietness. The main building is used for breakfast serving and also offers a guest kitchen. The bedroom is equipped like a youth hostel, very simple but clean. The bathroom is shared with another room. A hyggelig shared room is equipped with sofas, books, games. There is plenty of parking space and the ability to store bicycles. The location is within a forest, separated from the main road. In a few walking minutes you can reach a supermarket for daily grocery and a bakery. Havneby is also not far, so you can reach it in a 30 minutes walk. The best here are the kind hosts and the lovely prepared breakfast, which serves fresh and delicious food.

the overall feel of the place was amazing, we arrived late in the afternoon (close to 7 pm) and the owner was still kindly waiting for us, we quickly checked in and ran out in the port to grab something to eat (as restaurants close 8-9 pm), when we came back the kids played in the common play room and made friends until 10 pm; I was impressed about how clean the shared bathroom is (each 2 rooms share 1 bathroom); every single detail of the B&B shows respect towards the guests that step into this home and high attention for details, from the flower pots around the garden, to the living room where you can snuggle and read a book, to the outside playground or the inside playroom, not to mention the breakfast tables set with lighted candles and fresh flowers; in the morning we were served a breakfast that was prepared with love for us, felt like a breakfast for queens & kings (fresh baked bread & cakes, delicious butter and local cheeses, freshly hot brewed coffee and tea, fruits, veggies, meats, on demand freshly prepared scrambled eggs, jams & chocolate spread and whatnot), and every single person around the breakfast tables was clearly impressed by the service and you got an overall positive fresh energy to perfectly start your day ❤️🌞 thank you for all your care!

The room with bathroom was small and beds were not comfortable.

It is good place to stay. Location is also very nice and it is great that there is common kitchen. Breakfasts were good and it is a big plus that the food is really homemade (marmolades, buns, cakes, scrumble eggs) but I expected more variety after reading some of reviews. Also rooms were decorated very creative, I found it as nice touch.

Very cosy feel. Well equipped kitchen, games room with ping pong and other games. free wifi. Plenty of parking. Nice outdoor sitting areas. All we needed for a few days. Shop and bike rental at walking distance.

Excellent breakfast, prepared with much love. Beautifully restored Spisestue. Generally plenty of space on facilities with well balanced privacy and opportunity to engage with neighbors.
