Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Old fashion room. Bathroom equipments and shower design like in the 1960s. Expensive and not exceptional breakfast. Some issues on breakfast billing occurred several times with me and my colleague, but the nice staff corrected them promply.
Excellent location in the pedestrian city center. Very quiet place, no street noise. Large and confortable room. Very nice staff.

Very nice breakfast. The staff was very friendly and informative. Nice room. We had free covered parking which was great because it snowed during our stay.

Breakfast was good but a bit lacking. Missed some pork/bacon and scambled eggs. However there was omelette and pancakes! :)
*Friendly staff. *Both bathtub and shower in our room. 3ppl. *Free and secluded parking for residents. *Great place to stay for events at Gimle etc. (5 minute walk.)

Not so much didn't like but something I noticed that could be improved is accessibility. If you had limited mobility, it's not the easiest to get around.
The comfy beds, clean facilities, choices at breakfast, helpful staff and the location.

Directions to car park are needed

The room was quite close to the elevator and one could hear it every time it was used. The breakfast area is quite small and with many people milling around a relatively small breakfast island, it was quite crowded. Whilst it was a nice place, it does not offer value for money.
The room was very comfortable and clean. It was in a perfect location in the centre of Roskilde. Parking was available at no extra cost. Breakfast was really nice and extensive.

Very large historic hotel in the center of Roskilde. Historic also means somewhat run-down, small rooms, old furniture, carpeting. It doesn't give the feeling of clean because of the way it looks. But there is nothing to report. If you arrive a little before check-in time they allow you access to the room, but with an extra charge..... but if the room is already ready, why charge?

Our third floor room had sloping walls where the roof comes down, so we had to be careful on the window side. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, only in reception.
Excellent city centre location with its own parking. Interesting historic places within walking distance. Good choice for the breakfast buffet.

The room is missing the amenities for eg, kettle, drinking water & coffee. Breakfast variation can be more. I was staying at 3rd floor with no elevator. It is difficult and carry the luggage to the room.
The location is strategic as it is located in the city centre where it next to restaurants & convenient stores. It is also walking distance to the main attraction Roskilde Cathedral & Viking Museum.

Based on other places we stayed along our journey the breakfast was average. The reception staff did not seem knowledgeable about the area.

I was surprised that I didn't see any recycling bins for paper and plastic. Bed on the soft side.
Location perfect. Breakfast very good with big selection. Staff very helpful. Great with free parkkng.

Maybe the access to the hotel could be more signaled with signs and arrows to find it more easily.
The hotel is very close to the cathedral (5min by foot). Even though the building was old with problems with the water system (warm water), the manager was super helpful and tried to fix the problem. We appreciated to get our night offered because we had no water for the shower !
