Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe cappuccino in the (paid) coffee machine tasted sour. The cleaning team was very kind and tried to help, but I suppose it was a problem with the milk in the machine, as the americano tasted fine. Not a big deal, but this kind of small issue is naturally harder to figure out with a digital-only reception.
The bedroom was way bigger than expected, the view from the big windows was actually quite cute (a brick building and a slice of sky), there were a couple of shared toilets only a few steps away that were always clean and we never had to queue for them, the showers were nice and we also didn't have to queue, having a shared kitchen was great considering Copenhagen is an expensive city to eat out and the hotel is not that close to the main area, we were able to check-in earlier and keep our stuff in the locker after check-out on the last day. Additionally, one of us had to work from the hotel for a couple of days and there was a good office area in the room (table + chair) and high-speed internet. There isn't a reception, but they were quite responsive online, even minutes before check-in. While Copenhagen is a relatively small city and we actually walked to the city centre a couple of times (45-60 minutes), remember to take into account the cost of metro tickets, which are not the cheapest. Still, there is a metro station around 6 minutes from the hotel and the metro runs 24/7. This was a high-season last-minute trip for us, so compared to the prices we were finding it was definitely the best option for us.

HungaryThe walls were a bit thin, but that didn't bother us at all because we were just going home to sleep after a tiring day. We slept peacefully :-))
The accommodation fully met the description. The room was very comfortable, the shared bathroom was very clean and it was good that it was separate. The shared kitchen has everything you need to cook, everything was clean. A refrigerator, kettle, induction hob are available. Check-in/out was convenient, opening the door with a code was a great advantage. There were several shops near the accommodation where you could buy everything at surprisingly good prices (Euro365, Netto). The city centre was reachable by metro in 15 minutes.

Czech RepublicBathroom (mixed) could be cleaned and toilet paper refilled more often. The neighbourhood seemed calm, except for Saturday night: other guests were smoking and chatting right under our window throughout the night. Kitchen = only sink + coffee machine.
Super-easy check-in and check-out. Close to the airport. Not so close to the city centre but still within a walking distance. Generally clean and quiet place.

BelarusA convenient place to stay in Copenhagen – a quiet and peaceful neighborhood not far from the city center, with a nearby metro station and bus stops. The hotel has everything you need: a kitchen where you can cook your own meals and a café where you can relax or spend some time. If needed, there's also a room with a washing machine. An extra bonus is the lockers, where you can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out. We really enjoyed our stay!

CanadaThe price was astronomical for a room with shared bath. Was there price gouging because of the Copenhell 4-day music festival?
The on-line check-in and check-out was very simple and clear. It was nice to have the wifi info included in the instructions. The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. It was nice to have a fan in the room to create white noise since I went to bed so early for my early morning flight the next day.

TurkeyThe hotel was beautiful and very clean. The rooms were quite spacious and the beds were super comfortable. There is no reception, everything is handled online, but it works perfectly. We needed some extra pillows and after messaging online, they were delivered to our door almost immediately. The location is also great — just one metro ride to the center and the area is very quiet. Highly recommended!

DenmarkI would not recommend this hotel to families with small children. The showers were working only on the 1 floor, toilet was far away from our room. There was no TV.
It was a very spacious room for 4 persons. Close from the airport. Many cafes for breakfast closed by.

SwedenBeing inundated with emails, texts, calls from the staff asking about what time I’d check in and then once I knew and wrote to them it didn’t even matter because it’s a self check in with a pin.. and then the same again about when I’d check out and being called about how my experience was during my stay (they mean well but feels unnecessary). Chill people.
Very accessible and spacious and nice kitchen and laundry facilities. Very seamless experience with having a pin for everything.

PolandNot much to complain about, but maybe some places of our room deserves a bit more complex cleaning (i.e. under bed)
Great location, close to metro and shops. Although our room did not contain bathroom, it was available right next door (couple of them). Room equipped fine, enough for 2-3 nights. Coffee maker And vending mashine available at reception. Overall, nice quality at decent price.
