As we had late lunch I just ordered a Burger. Never again. Burger extremely well done. They offered a new one. It was better but woud not recommend to have burger at this place. Kir Royal not drinkable and list of drinks very limited

The room was too warm and normal buzz of the next door was'nt pleasant to hear.

Very good breakfast and the breakfast room and other rooms in same building were very beautiful with nice furniture and furnishings.

the place is run down and not up to modern standards. THe room are not very clean and lack very basic comodities. the decor is heavy with old furniture, drapes and carpet that all feel dirty and dusty.

there is "complementary" coffee included in the room bill. but the coffee is poor - so I would rather have seen a smaller bill. At least the linen and the sheets seemed clean enough. and the water pressure in the swower was fine.

I liked staying in a grand Manor house with its luxurious surroundings. It is also very good value for what you get. I liked being in a quiet rural setting that is only 12km from the centre of Aalborg.

We didn't like the room we got in another building, not the main building. It was small, warm, ugly view to a not used, dirty, smelling swimmingpool. The bed was small and the carpet was full of hair and dust from other people. The buildings were not nicely maintained.

    Main house.

Desk clerk made no effort to accommodate our request to put rooms for our group together. Iron is in a mezzanine outside the rooms. Small rooms/no A/C (of course, that seems to be standard in Denmark. Remote for those wanting to be close to attractions.

Historic country manor house between Aalborg and Nibe with period amenities such as knights in armor and parlors. Filled with character. A wedding venue. Breakfast had variety and was tasty. Nice country strolls.

Continuous noise all night like a generator or something mechanical which kept us awake. This was a shame in an otherwise peaceful setting. There wasn't any soap or other toiletries in the bathroom - only a couple of towels. Very small bathroom which let the room down as the room was lovely. Dinner was a bit chaotic. They had a cocktail menu but didn't have any gin! There was little in the way of wine by the glass and options for half bottle not great - not ideal if you like wine but don't want a lot to drink. Food was good though.

Lovely room but a small shower. Diner was good

    1. They noticed that the price on Booking. com is wrong and asked for extra fee. 2. There was no small double room extra for 1 person at the night, so they arranged to be standard double room. However, they also charged as standard double room without any notice because it should be their responsibility of over booking. After the complaint, we get back the gap of money but it is the horrible experience because of cheeting from Danish people! I will not select Denmark as my first traveling choice again.

The more economical rooms in the newer building lack the charm and space of the older rooms.

The large garden and peaceful setting outside the city, was very relaxing. The main reception rooms and dinning room is beautifully decorated, with old school charm.

Our room. It was advertised as small double but was a small single with a double bed. Very little room to move about having to squeeze past the bed. Bathroom was like a Stena Line ferry economy.

    Main building very grand.
