There are no views but considering how loud Las Terrenas is, this is probably better that way.

There was a little squeaky noise coming from outside at night (probably the AC engine?) but nothing that would prevent us to have a sound sleep!

El Rincon de Abi is a little gem hidden in the chaos of Las Terrenas. It is located away from the traffic yet close enough to allow you to reach the beach and main restaurants on foot. What we appreciated the most was the kindness of the hosts - Kamilah, one of the owners, was super nice to us and kept our luggage safe before check in time. We were also provided with beach towels so we could enjoy the day at the beach before we were allowed to check in. She was also really helpful in giving us tips and recommendations for places to eat and visit. The entire place seems to be recently renovated, the room was very spacious with a little patio outside, enormous bathroom with an amazing shower and big plus - conditioner was provided! There was also a fridge in the room and unlimited water refills available from the kitchen. The hosts are super accommodating and let us have breakfast before the official breakfast time as we wanted to leave earlier. The rest of the staff was also super smiley and kind. Overall, a great stay!!!

Beautiful place! Very calm. Very cosy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good and comfortable bed. Beautiful and clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. I fell in love with a wireless charger with a small speaker and a night lamp. Mosquito nets on all the windows. Good working and well located A/C and a ceiling fan. A lot of light which I love, but at the same time good curtains for those who don't like it. They provided a few complimentary bottles of water and many towels. Good enough breakfasts. Very nice dining area by the pool. 3 min walk to the main beach of Las Terrenas and close to multiple restaurants, bars and boutiques. Good Wi-Fi

Everything. Perfect location. Lovely new accommodations and amazing host Khamila! I would for sure come back and recommend this place to my friends! It felt as if it was home. We had such a great stay! And Khamila helped us a lot with booking excursions, taxis etc. She was always there for us!

The location was the biggest plus. The main road is very noisy any time of the day. The hotel was close to the main road, but quiet and private. The hosts and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A few locations had a lot of mosquitoes. At some point we could not scare them off though we were covered in mosquito repellent.

My partner and I arrived on the first day when El Rincon de Abi transitioned to the new owners. We had a very good experience and nice talks with the new owners. They are very friendly and motivated and they have very ambitious and creative ideas to change the place. We look forward to going back to las Terrenas and visiting El Rincon de Abi in the future.

Just so people know - there are distinct rules and I understand why. At first I was a bit taken back, but it's really not a problem. They are well thought out, make sense and I'm sure keeps the place peaceful and enjoyable.

Location was great, 2 minutes to the beach but peaceful and quiet. Interesting people. I had some very nice conversations.

Very nice lokation just a few hundrede meters from the beach and that means it is very quiet. The town can be a bit loud because of motos and trucks. Fun decoration of the hotel, very nice breakfast, very sweet and helpful hosts, clean and cosy common area:)

Wifi was very weak in my room, but was OK near the pool.

Friendly, spotlessly clean hotel in a great location within easy walking distance of Las Terrenas restaurants and beaches. Rooms are in two bungalows and a motel-style building surrounding a garden and pool area. Excellent security arrangements with electronic room locks and outer gate. Breakfast area near the pool has a shared kitchen that many guests use to prepare their meals.
