    We did enjoy certain parts of the resort. The pools were fun (although not always clean), and we appreciated some of the à la carte dining — especially at the Dominican Restaurant Rumba. Splash Island was a great experience for our child. We also valued the idea of the all-inclusive package, although the constant delays in service made it less enjoyable. Yes, the dislike part is a bit long for this one, see down below...

    Our experience at this resort was unfortunately far from the premium standard advertised. Check-in was delayed by over an hour, and the first room we received was in unacceptable condition — dirty, worn, with broken air conditioning. Although we were moved, the second room still had issues, including a mattress that smelled strongly of urine and possible fleas, which left us with itchy bites. Service was consistently slow and unreliable. Basic requests like towels or room service took far too long, and communication was challenging due to language barriers. The buffet food lacked variety and quality, with few child-friendly options. Our concierge booked restaurants for us, and we didn’t know where we were going to eat dinner until just a few hours before each evening. We had specifically requested the Italian and Mexican restaurants but were instead booked somewhere else our first night. On our second night, she told us we were confirmed for a Japanese experience, but when we arrived, the restaurant said our reservation was for the next day. We were allowed in that night, but then we had nothing booked for the following evening. As a result, our last dinner was at the buffet — which was disappointing for what should have been the highlight of our final evening. We also encountered a significant safety issue when the bathroom door lock malfunctioned, leaving us locked out for 30 minutes before anyone arrived to assist. How scary if our toddler had been in there as this door just clicked in locked position. The maintenance had to change the whole doorknob and lock. There are more to say but Booking.com has a limit to how much, well well... if you are between resorts, go for the other ones.

We also regret the inconsistencies in restaurant reservations and the lack of clarity around your dining schedule. We understand how important these moments are during a vacation, especially on your final evening, and we apologize for the disappointment caused. The safety concern with the bathroom door has been addressed immediately, as the wellbeing of our guests — especially young children — remains our top priority. We understand how distressing that situation must have been and are taking steps to prevent similar incidents in the future. Despite the shortcomings, we are grateful that you valued the concept of our all-inclusive package, which is designed to offer a seamless and enjoyable vacation experience.     I liked that it was close to the beach

    Cleanliness, there were roaches in the rooms and German roaches in the dining area, our room had a moldy smell
