Only one bathroom in vip pool area , get dirty quick

Having to pay for the Cabanas as in some cases thet were not in great condition for dirty. I found it hard to get change for the pesos from the atm. When I went to get 200 dollars from the exchange, they wanted 38usd commission which was crazy, after all, the money was for tipping the staff.

The staff that dance in the hall at the end of the evening were exceptionally nice people and do a great job.

The beach was riddled with all sorts of party boats and other activities. Really killed the relaxation.

Smoking - cigars in particular is permitted everywhere. Including in the pool. No consideration for non smokers.

Just the walking but I did stay in an ocean front . Front desk has no issues getting us a ride

I like how the property had so many options, between pools and restaurants. The spa was one of my fav the hydrotherapy was worth it .

The food and drink were okay. Facilities were a bit outdated. Expected more luxury but it was still nice.

The staff at the hotel were superb. They always said hello, offered to help. One of them even took us off property to a party. The beach and pool were really nice.

The food although really good could have been a little more elevated, lobster etc. premium liquor was only available in the Premier designated bars.

Grounds were lush and tropical. The welcomed us with Champagne. The staff was awesome,friendly and eager to help. Plenty of staff so we never had to wait for something we needed. The rooms were updated and very clean. The food options were plentiful, all restaurants were open. The quality of the food was amazing. Entertainment was amazing!

The staff were incredible and went above and beyond to get anything that was needed for me or for my family of 11 that stayed at Secrets Royal. We felt at home with the welcoming staff, and all the facilities were extremely clean. I booked a room with a private pool and it was perfection! Very happy with out stay at this hotel. We went to celebrate my mom's 65th birthday and the staff helped in every way to make this the most memorable birthday.

The staff were so attentive and always made my family and I feel at home. We were a large group on 11. The staff went above and beyond to get us what we needed. The hotel was extremely clean and beautiful! The bed was super comfortable, and the rooms were maintained clean + eco-friendly maintenance. I booked a room with a private pool, and it was perfection!

This place is a joke, I have worked in customer service for 20 years your staff are pathetic robots, the most stupid thing you can make your staff say is ‘it’s company policy’ you guys are terrible and like your reputation Hyatt is going down the drain. Absolutely awful place don’t waste a penny here zero entertainment zero everything yuk avoid

When we arrived they tried to have us upgrade the rooms for $$ which we didn’t want but they had to waste 10 minutes convincing us before they told how much we need to add. Eventually they asked for additional $220/night. Also, we booked the ocean view room but we received a “barely ocean view” room as the once you can actually see the ocean are the ones they want you to upgrade. Also, they told us that they will give us a 50 min “FREE” massage as an anniversary gift but it is a trick. They wanted to sell us a membership package and have a 90 minutes presentation BS during our breakfast. We turned them off.

There was too much hassle on the beach. The quality of the food in most restaurants not true to description, the quality of some guest disrespectful, the entertainment was very poor. Felt a bit trapped in the resort.

Staff was always welcoming. Mexican restaurant was best quality/taste meal and vibrant staff.
