The quality of the restaurant is probably the worst in Haapsalu. The use only frozen (potatoes, vegetables) or prefabricated products. The seasoning is awful, very salty and badly seasoned food. Staff does not know about the menu items or what the dishes contain, lots of drinks missing, super slow service although there were maximum 10 people in the restaurant etc...They try to serve fine dining experience with nice white table cloth and serviettes but their food and service is on so bad. We tried to call the chef out to ask wether he/she would it that food but got a refuse answer.

Super nice location on the beachside. Very nice spa.

There wasn't.t a children pool. Not hot drink opportunities in an early morning (not coffee machine in lobby or not kettles in a room). I was telling in lobby about my early morning coffee wishes but they weren't helpful. Breakfast starts at 7 but I wanted it at 5, so kettle in a room would be nice.

Location is really supergood and beautiful by the Baltic sea.. Great for doing walks, actually it's in a forest and sand beach is about 100m. But cozy city center is about 1,5km to walk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Saunas and pools are good. Breakfast was ok. I am vegetarian, so I was looking for vegan food, but were there not so much (not plant milk etc). But I found something. Nice library with PC-s. Nice souvenir shop and gym. Very many Finnish old people ( I think it's a good thing, welcome! I am an Estonian myself).

Hotel is located right next to beach. Tasty breakfast, a lot of choices.

Perfect place for a spa weekend. Haapsalu is super nice city and I love that the Spa is a bit away from the centre - the nature and beach are beautiful there. Thalasso rooms are nice and pool centre is great for relaxing - you must try the outside pool.

Milk bath was basically normal jakussi bath with small portion of powder. Simple massage and it wasn’t relaxing at all, all the spa treatments are made by older people, massage was brisky and rough but not in a good way. Food in lunch buffet is like school dinner food, so we used restaurant all the time. For the prices of good spa treatments we got old sanatorium service with pensioners waiting in the corridors for their doctors. Also, use of spa robe is included into the booking price but the slippers aren’t, so before going to spa area you have to go downstairs to the info point and buy slippers for 3 eur, which I think is weird when we’re paying quite a normal price for spa-hotel room. Pool has some weird chemicals in it, because my face was covered with allergic reactions after first evening, and I normally use other public pools and spas so assuming that they have some special chemicals there. For all this services and the venue itself I think this price wasn’t worth it.

We were the only guests at the restaurant and the waitress was really nice and friendly. Also the room was good, normal basic room with enough space.

Dinner buffet was the poorest ever. No value for the money at all. Arrived at 7pm - paid for two persons (30€). Such a waste. There was basically nothing to eat. Boiled potatoes were undercooked and hard as rock. What was left of the chicken in creamy sauce was little bit dry but ok and strawberry soup as a dessert was the best thing at that night. Fortunately breakfast was much better.

The level of the local restaurant is super bad, especially the service. Our waitress forgot our drinks, served wrong food, forgot 2 starters, didn't know the menu items. The food was rather low priced and the taste of the food was super bad even for that money. For example pumpkin soup tasted like baby puree and the texture of that was Didn't see a professional chef's hand in any way during the dinner. The tale cover included bread plate and butter knife but we were not served any bread. Very weak wine card containing only cheap wines you can buy from retail stores. There are many nice places to eat in Haapsalu so eat out. Breakfast had a big enough selection but a lot of food was badly made and served. Selection of different slices (ham, cheese) were just thrown to the trays without separating the slices from each other, tomatoes were ice cold, they hadn't removed even stickers from the fruits. The boiled eggs were overcooked and blue inside, the omelet was probably made of egg powder so the texture was like rubber. Th fish selection was nice containing many varieties of the Baltic sea. No elevator on the building so we had to transport our baby trolleys from stairs which is probably bad news for wheelchair users or injured guests.

Very nice and tranquil location. The spa was also good although a bit crowded and the saunas were dirty. Rooms were simple but very clean.

I don't know if they work like this due to low season, or it is standard for this hotel, but... 1. There was no room cleaning. The only thing was done by them is throwing away trash. The first day, the cleaning lady came and said something like: 'do you want me to clean anything? You are leaving tomorrow anyway'. We were staying for four nights though, and after I told her that, she only changed some of our towels because I required this. That's it. 2. No SPA staff was working. We came to SPA hotel to enjoy SPA treatments, but couldn't have any of what we wanted, because in low season SPA staff just doesn't work. We were told that we have to book in advance before coming... Well, notify guests in advance then. 3. Breakfast was not tasty at all 4. Really uncomfortable beds. Extremely soft mattress and pillows. 5. In the bathroom, have to push shower button every 15 seconds. Impossible to have a shower. 6. Machines in the gym are very old, partly are broken + no AC and quite dusty.

Location is great. In the middle of a wonderful forest and right next to the sea coast and beach area, but at the same right walkable distance from the city centre.

Wifi was rather weak. I have not found any of 2 big towels for the bathroom ( only 2 for the spa center). It is a pity that in the morning only 2 saunas are open, as in the evening there are in the spa center not only those who stay in the hotel, but from aside. And it turns out that having payed for a stay in the morning you get less saunas.. If it is busy season, parking for hotel guests is too small, should park away from the entrance.

The hotel is situated rather far from the city center but next to the sea shore, where you can have a stroll or take sun baths. Main bonus of this hotel is its SPA and water center with 6 saunas and 2 pools and jakuzzi. Also breakfast is very rich and tasty, but it could happen that no place for you at the most popular time from 9.30 am..

Please invest in a better coffee machine. Nightgowns should be renewed. All carpets in corridors need deep wet cleaning with an industrial vacuum cleaner. Saunas should be open in the morning as well. Mud procedure should be included in the price. Haapsalu is a city of mosquitoes. Make more advertising in neighbouring countries, they like it here. Please rearrange the position of food in the breakfast room. Please make amendments to the overall mood, there is just sth amiss.

The cleaning lady was the best of the staff in the property! The room was decent and quiet and beds guaranteed a good sleeping. Breakfast okay but arrangement should be reorganised. Pools are okay. 6 saunas work in the evening until 22.00. Showerroom/toilet pleasant. Tranquil music in corridors and foyers. A small shop downstairs. Billiard room.

The property seems to be a bit out-of-date. There was no air conditioner, and it got a bit hot in the room though it was not at all a hot day. We've visited here before and we think the hotel was better two years ago. There was no air-conditioning in the room and our balcony door was broken. Breakfast place was crowded both mornings and it's really stupid that the pool area is closed between 9-13, so there's no chance to go there on the last morning when you're leaving (maybe that's their idea to get rid of customers?)

Closeness of the sea and surrounding forests are great.

Wifi doens't work in the room. Only at the reception desk, bar and restaurant. In 2017, I consider this as a seriously negative issue for the hotel.

There is lack of staff everywhere and if you demand any service you just cant get it. And it is really annoying because those people think they have right to get upset with you when you just demand service for the money you paid. Pricing is anti-children because you have to pay for every children which makes price of the room very high comparing to value offered. There are definetely better choices in Estonia.

Value for money? Maybe ... I guess it depends on the purpose of the trip. If the aim is to do some sight-seeing in Haapsalu, then this is not the hotel. The spa facilities are nice and clean, but the hotel during our stay was packed, so the pool and saunas were also full, which negatively affected our experience and enjoyment. There is a beach in front of the hotel, but who really wants to swim in the Baltic sea? Rooms are okay, but the bed and pillows are certainly not comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was not for our taste, not to say it was inedible, but compared to the standard breakfast and coffee one gets in Estonia, this was a level below that. The hotel is also far from Haapsalu city center and old town, which is a must see, as the Haapsalu old town is a gem, plus it has relatively high quality restaurants and cafes (honestly better than what you can find in Tallinn).

I was shocked that they do not have an elevator, so you need to carry your heavy luggage to the second floor through the stairs. Beaware then if one is in wheelchair. Though, the reception staff said, that they have always found someone from the hotel to help. The massage service needs a little improvement on modern client service- currently it felt a little too much like a factory line (though the quality of massage was really good).

Professional and friendly reception, I arrived slightly too early, and they asked cleaning stuff to complete my room earlier. The rooms are small but really comfortable. Choice of treatments is large, and the mudbath is a must to try:) Location is both - good and not so good- depends whether you are driving or not.
