Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LatviaThis minus is very personal, I'm a heavy guy, so for me beds are too soft, every morning waking up with hard back pain. Also I would like to have an option to switch on bathroom ventilation by myself, because if there are a lot of wet clothes after swimming, moisture level increases in whole room for a very long time. It would be nice to have much more powerful ventilation.
It was my second time I visited this SPA. I really like it because of very nice location and cozy and quiet atmosphere. Personally for me, it is a nice SPA area here with a quite big pool to take a nice swim. Breakfast also is great.

EstoniaI was a bit surprised you had to buy the slippers extra.
We stayed in Feb 2024 and were alone in the restaurant on Friday night, which was very impressive experience. The staff if very nice, food great, spa was also nice - lots of different saunas, outside pool area, hot chairs to relax in.

EstoniaThe facilities are a bit old and could use some refreshments. The no-go thing was finding a black mold here and there in the bathroom and spa-zone. Unfortunately haven’t taken the pictures. Another thing is would improve is opening the exits of the farther wings of the building to make guests’ trip to e. g. Spa zone or restaurant a little shorter as the corridors seem endless if you got yourself the room in the farther side of the building.
The location is really nice, I believe it is really great in a summer season as well. The breakfast was very good, diverse. Overall except the mold the hygienic state of the hotel and spa is fine. The staff is really nice, helpful and polite, you feel yourself welcomed there.

FinlandThe road instructions in the end were missing. The road is very narrow. It could be better signed. There shoud be more information about the spa treatment in the Internet. I thought that I can make an appointment to a massage, when I am in the spa. Then there were a group of 96 people, who had 3 times a day treatments... The explanation of the infrasaunas could be outside the room. The spa should be open all day long. Now if you stay only one night, you miss the morning spa. There was only swimming available.
The spa is good as a small spa. It has several different saunas. The pools are ok. Lebola is fantastic. The place was easy to reach. The rooms were tidy and good for our purposes (5 people). Breakfast was ok.

LatviaThe hotel has complicated layout- several sections with long walking distances (for hotel), easy to lost way to Your room. The buffet type dinner is not worth the price - limited selection, better to eat in town. The lock to our friend's room was broken so they was moved to different part of hotel, not next to us as asked.
The hotel was just what we expected, though with some aura of Soviet era buliding. Personal was kind and welcomig. SPA zone pretty good with nice selction of saunas. Nice surroundings - forest, seaside. Not a complaint, but on Midsummer vacations it was crowded - effect of being popular destination. The second floor rooms have balcony - worth to consider, if You'd like to have evening drink with partner/friends. Abundant breakfast offer, with pancakes included.

LatviaThe only thing I can mention here is not so good ventilation in bathroom and no air conditioners, in standard rooms, don't know about higher class rooms. It was hot to sleep.
Fantastic location, forest, sea. It was so nice to have morning run through the forest and then a swim in outside pool. I really enjoyed it. SPA located near the city, some 3-5 minutes by car. Breakfast was great, a lot of different food and drinks. I will definitely come back with my family and friends.

EstoniaThe building can be a bit of a maze. Especially if you can't part up front, and need to resort to parking by the beach. Trying to find the right place through the day spa can get a bit confusing. Also, there is little to no noise isolation. Got woken up by people talking in the corridor. One negative was definitely the lack of cell reception there. Trying to use the hotels' wifi wasn't helping much either.
The bed was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and tasted very good, even though we got to breakfast at 10 am. Everything was clean and the people working there were very nice and helpful.

EstoniaImprove the confort of the beds. I would recommend the use of protections for the mattresses, and not only the sheets.
Excellent location. We enjoyed the walks along the sea, in the woods, relaxing next to the swimming pool outside. Nice and relaxing complex. Good breakfast. Gluten-free options. We asked for a balcony before our arrival and the hotel staff kindly gave one:-) Excellent restaurant: try the pavlova (it is big and good), and the other dishes. To sum up, we highly recommend this place, and we will definitely come back.

Estoniathe door locks were old and relatively inconvenient and difficult to use. It wasn't just me who experienced this, but also an older lady was forced to ask for my help because she couldn't unlock her door with a key. It is possible to use the swimming pool in the morning, but all the saunas except one Finnish sauna are closed, while the saunas at the main competitor in the same city can also be used in the morning
The location is pleasant by Paralepa beach. When visiting the SPA, it is also possible to use the outdoor pool

EstoniaNo air condotioning. Spa pool and saunas not available to use in the morning. This was quite disapointing as we were even kicked out if the big pool because 5 people were doing a water aerobics class. Saunas also not warm in the morning. With high summer season and weekend rates this was not as expected.

FinlandSpa was quite small and basic compared to ones in Finland so one visit was enough. Food in restaurant was average but ok did the job.
Relaxing atmosphere in the middle of pine forest and near the beach. Good hiking routes and quite close with car to Haapsalu center and we even once walked there. Room was nice we enjoyed our stay.
