Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Very clean and comfy. I would appreciate 1-2 extra pillows, kitchen had everything and balcony was also very nice for having a breakfast or drinking wine in the evening ( small thing I would just oil the door hinges)

Only the promised coffee shop missing.
I think nothing about the breakfast in this hotel for they did not offer it. The coffee shop was closed. I had too look any other place where to have a breakfast. Still, it was a nice walk through the snowfall. :)

Couldn’t fault a thing
The place was very cozy, roomy and very tidy. Felt just like at home as everything was in hand Easy to find and in lovely quiet neighbourhood.

Lack of storage space for clothes, no cupboards for them. Cooking utensils were also lacking a little bit, no spatula or wooden spoons. There was no sugar and no other spices except for salt. You could've also said that there were more pillows and blankets under the sofa.
Great location, close to the sea, stores and the castle. Clean and spacious apartment. Would use again.

Broken dishwasher and hand soap in the bathroom was dish soap.
clean apartment, got everything whats needed. Also in a good place, a few minutes by foot and you are in the city centre

The apartment does not have (as of mid July) any kind of curtains nor blinds. Therefore it is rather complicated to put kids to bed early while it is still sun outside - must be innovative and patient to build light obstacles. And it will be sunny and warm in the morning under direct sunlight. Sofa is a little uncomfortable in the living room, but we managed. Kitchen needs a dining table and chairs, as that was not convenient to have a breakfast using what was available there.
We stayed in the apartment for 2 nights with our kids. Apartment is located in the center of Kuressaare, everything is pretty much walking distance from the apartment. Parking is available in front of the building free of charge. There is complimentary WIFI, flatscreen TV, almost fully equipped kitchen. Because of the building is recently renovated, facilities were modern and comfortable. Hosts provided clear guidance about getting the keys. The whole stay was quite pleasant for us, we enjoyed our time. Good value for money, especially during summer season.

There were some noisy machine outside next to the balcony so it wasn't so cosy and comfortable to spend time at the balcony.
We stayed first at one bed room appartment under ground level and then at appartment with own balcony. Both appartments were very clean and cosy. We enjoyed our time! Location was perfect! In the one bed room appartment were nicely cool temperature wich is very nice at hot summer! The appartment with own balcony was warmer and could be a bit too warm when it's hot outside.

Would be nice to have tea/coffee/salt and hairdryer.
Location close to city centre. Apartment new and clean. Big refrigirator. Free parking next to apartment building. Very close to store.

The place does not have the very basics. No curtains, no paper towels, no shampoo, no salt, no dish washer liquid, no kitchen table, no cups or glasses.
The place is nice and very modern and clean. The house is basically brand new within a rock thrown distance from the old town and all shops. Very quiet and peaceful. Owner is very nice even bought brand new bed linen as they were not enough. Check in smooth and easy.

Newly built apartment in Kuressaare with a great location. The reception was extremely friendly, fast and correct. The apartment itself was very cozy and clean. The apartment is furnished as if you were going home - everything you need is there. A big plus is the parking space by the house and a separate entrance. All additional requests were resolved quickly and the owners were very helpful.
