Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Tiny room itself but especially small bathroom makes it comfortable for 1-2 nights only, I believe. It is quite hot also inside.
Clean room, all the needed facilities, pretty fine location and allowing me to check out a bit later.

Modern building and an apartament itself. Great location, in a walkable distance from the city center and shopping malls. Has everything you might need for a short stay. Cosy, soft bed, smart tv, kitchen equipment, closet, two tables. Shower is quite small, just a glass door/wall, but its understandable. Convenient check in and check out times. Overall good experience.

The TV was a hard nut to crack at first. I needed to search and really try out all the possible ways to find the live channels. But I finally managed!
It's a well-located, nice and cozy apartment. There's everything you might need for a few-day trip (kitchen essentials, even seasoning and cooking oil!) and I especially loved the thought behind the preparations: the bathroom floor was already heated and made me feel I was very welcome. Plus there was a complementary waterbottle in the fridge, ready to go.

It was a small room. Shower was pretty small as well.
Instructions were easily understandable and provided timely. Room was super clean. Towels, shower gel and shampoo was provided. Hand soap was provided as well in a nice dispenser. A pot and a pan as well as cutlery was provided. Most central city locations can be reached with a 10 minute walk.

Everything is super compact; reminds of a capsule hotel. But then, for a solo traveler who intends to spend most of the time in the city - what’s missing? Nothing!
Very central location; city center is literally 5-10 min walk away! Modern yet compact facilities, all what a solo traveler might need is in place. Even few forks, a cooking pot - and a pack of kitchen napkins! And good, undisturbed view outside towards old (Soviet era) cinema building.

The apartment is a bit cramped, which isn't a huge problem since it is a solo apartment. However, it might be an issue for some people.
Great location, both the city centre and also other key places are within walking distance. Good price for a nice apartment, that had most of the vital amenities.

The only concern was low water-pressure in the shower in the evening time.
This apartment is in a superb location, approximately 7 minutes walk from the city centre. Very small apartment, but has everything you need. A great apartment for a short stay.

The outside door code didn’t work each time. After I got the key, it had a fob for entry from outside. The owner wanted to repair a fixture and sent several messages asking about my check out time.
Very clean, modern, comfortable, easy bus (#3) access from train station, close to downtown, KGB museum.

A microwave would be good, though don’t know where it would go! More suited maybe to a single person than a couple as small place.
Good WiFi, good (small) shower, plenty of plugs, equipped kitchen, clean and modern compact apartment. 10-15 minutes walk from old town etc. Good value.
