Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FinlandMy room was on ground floor and facing parking lot. The backdoor was open all times so I felt a bit unsafe staying right by it. And obviously had to keep curtains closed all times. The room floor was dirty and the towels worn-out. The personnel was mainly unfriendly, and the young guy working in breakfast room was the only one who greeted me during my stay.
The location was perfect - quiet street yet near city centre & beach. Good breakfast.

United KingdomNo lift- a bit challenging with large suitcase . Different levels- if you have mobility challenges it could be more difficult to access. Would need to request accessible room.
Traditional and comfortable- good location near to the beach.

Parnu is a delightful coastal town with an interesting affinity with elephants! The Wesset is wonderfully located in a street mall with no traffic and loads of lovely brightly coloured flower arrangements. The hotel room was very comfy as was the bed, and the shower was excellent. Good proximity to the beach. Great breakfast.

United KingdomI was lucky enough to not get the infamous room 303. There is no lift so take into consideration when packing. The hotel is not expensive. However, taking into consideration what is offered proportionally of what you pay for the room and facilities, this hotel definitely makes more money per room than an average hotel in the Baltic region. I think the hotel could make some small fixes even if it implies a small price increase. For example, the soap holder was rusty. Also, when taking the shower, the water was leaking on the bathroom floor. 😭 The breakfast was fine but I did not see non-dairy alternatives.
Staff were amazing! The hotel is about 15min walking distance to the town centre and 8min to the beach. The smell of the shower product was amazing! It’s in a lovely street full of history that you can read on the houses. The story of the hotel is itself very touching as well. The bedding was very comfortable. The blue tiles in the bathroom are very cute.

NetherlandsNothing.
The staff at the check-in desk and in the restaurant is very young, but they are really super. All speak good English, are natural friendly, give all the information you need. Even though de ladies are very young, they know exactly what they do and are an example for many others. My Wife and I travel very much (we are Genius Level 3 member) and wish that more hotels had a staff as Hotel Villa Wesset. The breakfast is really breathtaking and amazing. High quality and en much choice. The fact that, for example, there was salmon at the breakfast says enough. Big compliment for this. Room was good (and sent). Bathroom good as well. Absoluut value for money.

LatviaOur room was a bit cramped, but, I guess, it's the best they can do in this historic building.

LatviaRoom was very small, when watching pictures on booking I did not even see such small room. Room would also benefit from a kettle to make tea. Sad, that the design of room is "modern", while rest of the building looks "retro", which I like more.
The location is awesome, very close to the beach. Villa itself is located on a nice walkable street. Bathroom in the room is gorgeous! It is made of blue and white tiles and look fantastic! It is possible to check in at late times, we arrived at 22:30 and were met by a friendly staff member. Free parking is available, but only if there is a spot, as there are only few spaces, but we were lucky and there was a space for us. Breakfast was also really good - very wide choice.

EstoniaMaybe a bit worn out rooms - not a problem, just mentioning. If you prefer all new rooms, then this is not for you. Depending on your room location, it might get a bit noisy at night - again, as the building is old and of wooden construction, this is just a fact. Not a problem for us, just be prepared.
Superb location Very atmospheric - gives true Pärnu old school villa vibes Rather comfy room, with all necessary Very clean Exceptional breakfast with bubbly - what else would you need on vacation?
