How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewThe manager was pleasant . It had security . But it was full off damp like there had been s flood or burst pipes. It was not good and wasn't very clean in the kitchen but the bedroom was clean but I had my own sheets with me but the ones there looked clean
There was so much damp it was unhealthy and it was high up and low it was so bad and mould on the back of the furniture and the kitchen units looked so badly damaged by what ever had happened there also it was so far from. every where and had to go up a few flights of stairs with derelict apartments with no doors and no lighting if my husband was not there i don't know how I would of coped .

Verified reviewIt is a nice apartment with two bedrooms. There is a washing machine, a huge fridge and all the pots and cutlery that one may need for cooking . The view of the swimming pool is nice. It is quiet and it feels like home. Mr Nasser Gebril and Waleed were very helpful with everything. I also really liked the furniture and the two terraces.

No soap in bathroom, no towel , no napkins , no microwave, the place lack some tools to use in your stay, the rent man was not cooperative
malicious review! Thank you because you said "It was clean" the main point is as you said "the rent man was not cooperative" your reservation is 2 adults + 2 child. But, actually, you brought extra people with you to stay at the apartment!! without any extra charge which was out of the rules of booking even, the rules said the check out at 10 Am to make the apartment ready for the next check at 12 unless there is no new booking we can allow you to check out a little late with no charge, and you check out 3 hours late without any extra!! anyway, I was as cooperative as I could. but to say "No soap in bathroom, no towel , no napkins , no microwave, the place lack some tools to use in your stay" that was No Fair and not correct.

Dr. Alaa, thank you for choosing our apartment for your vacation But, really i wonder!! you rate us for basic categories in general 10 out of 10 except Facilities 7.5 out of 10 but as our prescription we mentioned that we have 3 swimming pool and there are NO other Facilities are available so, we don't promise for other Facilities but you don't find it even, in total rate is only 8 out of 10 !! which as i think is not fear ! that what usually expected from some of Egyptian guest Finlay, on our description is clear that, there are NO WIFI so, why you think is weak point - any way, thank you again

Verified reviewBeautiful apartment, modern furnishings and super helpful and friendly owner! Really close to the airport too which was convenient for a short stop over. Excellent value for money.
It’s a little bit far from the centre.
Thank you for your stayed with us by the way there are tow centers first and the oldest (very nice) Namaa bay 24 min (20.9 km) second which located nearby only at Maraqia Sharm to Nabq bay 14 min (8.8 km) as you can enjoy a different kind of local food, famous restaurants , coffee shops and soho square dolphin show only 9 min (5.9 km)
