Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

You have to choose between continental and egyptian breakfast.

The breakfast is not optionable. It would be better to make it open buffet. There should be hair dryer in the room.
Nice location. Perfect view at restaurant terrace. Nice food in restaurant. Friendly staff.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, was allocated a room with large veranda overlooking Roman ruins. Good size room. Hotel is located on top of apartment block.

Lighting was dim
Clean, hygienic, and safe environment. All the staff were friendly and cordial. The rooms did not have any insects or other unhygienic features. The restaurant was attached and was clean and with great breakfast. Room service was prompt and organized

I I like everything
Is a very comfortable place and very comfortable stuff the food is very very delicious. Never I see a food look like that before in Egypt and my husband likes the food so much and the people work is there very comfortable people whatever you ask them to get you if that be in Hotel if that be outside, the people help so much and the people reception very beautiful people. I love them so much. I Inshallah make sure whatever time I come in Alexandria I’ll be in that hotel because I never see they look like that before the stuff all is beautiful really and I say thank you for everybody really for that beautiful trip to me and my husband or my family.

everything was perfect.just maybe a bigger sign on the main street to locate the hotel easier.
perfect location in the shopping area of Alexandria. Great view from our room to the roman theatre. SUPER big room with extra comfort double bed. Personnel was really welcoming and breakfast was absolutely lovely. Thanks for the wonderful night.

Elevator was old and you can hear it in our room when its working.
The staff were really friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room so we can have a better view. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking to the Roman ruins and near to all shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good, specially the Egyptian breakfast. It was a pleasant stay, good price . I really recommend this hotel.

The entrance.
The staff could not have been more helpful. Frontage a bit shabby but the 10th floor is fine. The rooms were expansive and I had a lovely balcony.

Taxi found it hard to find.
Very comfortable, clean and great location and views. Owner is honest and corrected an error in the charges, though they were unable to refund back onto card so gave cash.

Wifi was weak in the room, but ok in the restaurant and reception area
Very clean and spacious. Good and prompt service. Staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Especially Mr. Mahmood. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were very helpful, polite and friendly.

There was no housekeeping to remake beds etc
Very friendly staff and welcoming staf. Great location - just a few minutes waked from the Corniche. Room size was good, with a nice balcony and view. Breakfast was generous and decent quality.
