We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo elevator and quite a few flights of stairs. The staff feels like it's a bunch of very young men (some possibly teenagers) but they were all friendly and did their best to be helpful.
Location was amazing. We had the pyramid/sphinx view from our room, which made the experience FANTASTIC. It's also right across the street from the ticket booth, which was super convenient. The air conditioning works really well, which was a lifesaver in the summer heat.

United StatesOur bathroom smelled like sewer gas. We asked them day 2 to fix it. The first fix lasted about 1 hr. Then, the next fix lasted a few hours. The last fix lasted until we left. It made the bathroom experience challenging.
The location is unbeatable! The staff is very helpful.

United StatesBecause the hotel is in the middle of Giza in a very popular area, it can be noisy at night.
We spent four nights in a balcony room with a breathtaking view of the Pyramids and Sphinx, truly one of the best you’ll find anywhere in Giza. Getting to the hotel from the airport was about a 40 minute drive with our driver, and while the area around the hotel can feel a little chaotic at first, we never had any safety concerns. The staff greeted us warmly with a welcome drink of hibiscus tea and helped us settle in. Stepping onto the balcony for the first time, especially at night, was unforgettable. The Sphinx is incredibly near, giving you an up close view. Waking up to a full glass window framing the pyramids was a magical way to start each day. There’s an incredible sense of history and wonder that makes the experience unforgettable. The rooms had a mini fridge, spacious bathrooms with walk in showers, and the staff was always offering us cold bottles of water, which was especially appreciated in the heat. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, where the panoramic view makes even a simple meal feel special. The food was tasty and more than enough to start the day, but the fresh-squeezed orange juice served with breakfast was our favorite part. Just note that service runs on “Egyptian time,” so it’s best to order a little before you’re starving. The hotel is right next to the Sphinx entrance and surrounded by souvenir shops and restaurants. If you're lucky, you can catch the sound and light show from the rooftop, no ticket needed. We’d absolutely stay here again. A magical experience, made even better by the genuinely kind and helpful staff.

It is very near the gate of the Giza pyramids. You have a good view of the sphinx and the pyramids.

New ZealandNothing about the Hotel, just be prepared for the locals to get you to buy their stuff, an understand why they need to sell to make a living. To help their families,It does get a little frustrating.
It was a great location to the Pyramids, and the view from the rooftop was just amazing. The staff helped me in so many ways, booking tours, guides, taxis, haircuts, if I went for a walk, a staff member would accompany me around the general area. The breakfast was tasty, and the diner was pretty good, too.there is a convenient shop, Pizza Hut, and KFC very close by. The rooms are good depending on what you pay. Rooms with a view of the pyramids are excellent, just ensure you get the bed you require, single or double

Switzerland1) First night we didn't have the room we had booked: instead of double room on top floor with view on the pyramids, we had a terrible room with 3 beds on same room (no view at all) that was normally for 3 people and not for a family with 2 kids. They had obviously double booked. 2) they told us we will compensate the first night issue by offering the normal room for extra half day (departure by 6pm instead of noon) without extra cost. On the day of the departure (and just before leaving for a trip to the pyramids/ new museum from which we would return at 5.30) they announce we cannot offer extra half day anymore as we need the room for someone else and the cleaner has to clean it up by 4pm latest. 3) In order to free up the room at their request more quickly, we pack quickly everything and we ask to take out luggages at reception when they clean the room in our absence. We would come back to the hotel just to take the luggages. They put the luggages under the sun for the full day: 35C in Cairo under shadow... imagine on direct sunlight -> some medication we had was "boiled"... :( 4) the normal double room (that we had booked and entered as of the second night) did not have a curtain or any way to stop direct sunlight in the morning for one of the 3 windows... That means waking up VERY early... :(
Absolutely amazing view. It's really unbelievable. The pictures are real.

CanadaTo future guests, IF IF IF you want to have a LATE dinner, do remember to inform the staff well in advance. However, they were very accommodating to provide various options...so it is NOT considered a Dislike, but a heads up! As we must have caught them off guard and asked for a full on dinner order waaaaay too late (after 10pm)...its more our fault than the hotel.
The VIEW was BREATHTAKING! Nothing like it at any other hotel in the whole district! The staff were friendly, helpful, cooperative, always ready to support, diligent, and always had a smile on their faces! WE LOVED OUR STAY!!!

United KingdomAs a suggestion I would propose to improve the quality of breakfasts as it was very basic and maybe invest in the future and have a nice restaurant offering good food for the dinner. Some doors need fixing, other than than all was good.
Definately this hotel offers exceptional view on the Sphinx and the Pyramids. It's located just opposite the entrace to pyramids site. The staff was alwyas ready to help! We bought a camel trip offered by the hotel and it was a fantastic experience. The tour guide picked us up from the hotel and looked after us. You come to this hotel for the views.

PhilippinesNo elevator. Staff can be too persistent and pushy for good reviews, but I can understand why.
Location is the best! You will have a view of the sphinx and the pyramids right in front of you from their rooftop. Got a room with a side pyramids view which was good enough for me as I prefer sitting on the rooftop and sipping the best mango juice you'll ever have. I extended another night and canceled a downtown Cairo stay cause you'll never have enough of the scenery. I'd love to stay here again if ever I go back to Giza. Great service from Hagag, helped me find a pharmacy.

France- Room was a smaller than expected - Our room was facing the street (& Pyramides). It was therefore relatively noisy - Breakfast selection is not very rich - The hotel is close to the Pyramides/Sphinx, but not close to the main entrance. You have to do a 20 minute drive to get to the main entrace for non-Egyptian nationals. Most guided tours offer pickup though
- We chose this hotel for its price, and the fact that the reviews seemed genuine. (Many other hotels are rated way too positive and/or only have a short review history which indicates fake reviews) - The rooms were clean & the staff was very nice. - Our room had a nice balcony with a great view of the pyramides, same for the breakfast terrace. - There are few good restaurant options close by - They offer freshly fried Falafel in the morning

South AfricaThe receptionists was very lovely and welcomed us a midnight as our flight was delayed. We were upgraded to a king suite which was amazing and it had the best view of the pyramids and sphinx. About the location: please use a taxi/cab to arrive there as the part of Cairo with the pyramids view is a bit down town like but once you get in the rooms are great. The view is unmatched and totally worth it. I may be missing some cultural context but there were a pair of young boys doing odd jobs when we arrived which was quite late. I don’t know if these are summer jobs but kids should not be working until the late of night.

NorwayTiny flaws that that does not really bother me and most of them is out of the propertys control so I dont think they are even worth mentioning. I am more than satisfied with our view from the room and the super staff so not gonna complain og anything at all.
I booked a family room with a view of the Sphinx and the Pyramids and it did not disappoint. The view from our room is MAGNIFICENT. That alone covers all the tiny flaws of this property and a big thumbs up to EVERYONE who works in this hotel, and I mean everyone of them even the boys who makes us reslly good coffee everyday. They go over and beyond of what warm welcome means. The photos uploaded are taken from our balcony. Best views in all Giza!

NetherlandsIt is a noisy neighbourhood (don't forget your earplugs).
For the views is a solid 10 (pyramids view room). Waking up and seeing the Sphinx and the pyramids from the bed was just surreal. We stayed there for 3 nights, we got to see the light and sound show twice from the balcony, which honestly is very outdated, but you can get some cool shots with the coloured pyramids. The room is quite basic, clean enough, but don't have too many expectation. Basic breakfast. For the views alone and the fact that the entrance to the Giza plateau is just a few meters away from the hotel I recommend it dearly.

PortugalMake no mistake, this is the best possible view of the pyramids and sphinx. It's a 3-star hotel, nothing fancy but it does what it's supposed to do! The breakfast staff were fantastic. They will remain in my memories forever because despite their limitations (3 stars) they did everything to make the moment fantastic.

HungaryThe surroundings is ... well like Giza in the near. Dirty and noisy. In the suite water pressure is a bit low. In the night it was a bit noisy but the panorama and the positive things made it a good+ accomodation.
We chose this accomodation because of the panorama. We had a big private terasse cca. 40 m2 with full wonderful panorama to the pyramids and the sphynx. Pity that during our stay there was no light show. Hossam and the personnel was always polite and helpful. Breakfast was OK falafel was our favourite. The lunch we had once was good and we had it on our huge private terrasse . The suite was better than expected. It had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. AC worked well in both rooms. Everything was clean. The entrance to Giza plateau is cca. 30meters. We do recommend the hotel. We'd come back.
