Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

QatarTwo small things that could make the experience even better: it would be great if the hotel provided bottled water in the room and slippers for the guests.
We stayed in this hotel in Garden City, Cairo. The area itself is actually quite nice — calm and quiet compared to many other busy parts of Cairo. At first, when we arrived, the hotel looked a bit scary to us because everything felt unusual and we didn’t understand much. I had booked early check-in, but since the rooms were not ready yet, the staff cleaned one for us very quickly. We waited only about 40 minutes, and during that time they kindly served us coffee, so we could sit on the balcony, relax, and smoke. The room itself was very nice — exactly what we needed just for our stay in Cairo. Towels, shower gel, and shampoo were provided, the bathroom was good, the beds comfortable, and we also had air conditioning and a small fridge. The balcony was beautiful, and overall the atmosphere inside was pleasant. Today is our last day here, as we continue our travels tomorrow morning, and the staff surprised us with 4 pieces of cake and 2 small bottles of juice as a complimentary gift. That was such a sweet gesture and left us with a very warm impression. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in, I would give this one 8.5 out of 10. Nice location, quiet area, beautiful balcony, and thoughtful staff — overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I also want to mention the staff. They are extremely polite and professional. If you have any questions or requests, like asking for more coffee or sugar in your room, they will happily bring it. Usually in Egypt, small extras like this come with an additional charge, but here they gave it to us for free. That really shows how thoughtful and attentive they are.

NetherlandsGreat hotel, I really like the style, it seems after the recent renovation. There is a sound isolation, so even if outside is noisy, you don't hear it in the room. Staff is very friendly and supportive. Breakfast are great!

United KingdomCleaning of rooms should be more regular.
We booked this hotel last minute as we had to leave accommodation in Giza that we had paid to stay at as the place was filthy and unsafe. Golden Season empathised with us and welcomed us. The rooms are fairly new and very cosy with fridge, kettle, big tv and aircon. We stayed 4 nights. There’s breakfast included. The location is very quiet at night which is great. Extremely good soundproofing so no noise from other rooms. There is an elevator in the building as the hotel is on the third floor. The hotel is a good hub to get around Cairo and the suburbs. Staff were helpful and honest!

BrazilI had a wonderful one-night stay at Golden Season Hotel in Cairo! The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff were incredibly helpful. I booked directly with them for a tour to the Pyramids and a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor—they even arranged the domestic flights. They truly offer a complete and seamless experience. Highly recommend!

IndiaThere were several issues that affected our stay: - The entrance to the hotel felt a bit spooky and uninviting. - They do not accept card payments, which was quite inconvenient. - Basic amenities were lacking—for example, bottled water was not included and was charged at a premium. - While the room did have bath shower gel, the bottle was nearly empty, which showed a lack of attention to detail.
The main positives of this hotel were its convenient location and overall cleanliness—likely due to recent renovations.

United KingdomLocation was bad, one little shop nearby and a few more little shops two streets away. There were no restaurants nearby and you have to rely on takeaways. Towel rail in the bathroom fell which was fixed after couple of reminders and it fell again ! The breakfast was of poor quality
