Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomEverything Location was great and the hotel itself was lovely. Importantly to our family, was having an accessible room which we were given and from start to finish we had reassurance that if we needed anything at all just ask the staff. This meant alot to us and made our stay brilliant all be it for one night. Thank you

United KingdomI truly can’t fault it.
Gorgeous hotel with lovely, attentive staff and a fantastic breakfast. Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. It’s right on the Nile with three pools, including a pool bar, and an infinity pool which is perfect for sunset views. Just a 10–20 minute drive from major sights (Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple). The hotel also has convenient amenities (ATM and gift shop). Would definitely return!

New ZealandBreakfast was very good at the hotel. There are 2 swimming areas - adult only and general area. Rooms are very nice and spacious. The Hilton is north of Luxor town so you need to taxi to Luxor. Still very close for tours to Valley of the Kings, tomb of Hapshetsut and Luxor Temple.

United StatesMy only disappointment was that I only booked one night. Don’t make my mistake!
I stay at many five-star hotels, but this really raised the bar: from the moment of check-in, to the manager showing me to my room and luggage soon after, to the experience at the pool… I’m merely asked for towels, and our guide asked us where we would like to sit, expertly dressed the lounger with a towel and pillow. Then I realized he ran over to get a son umbrella for us and carted it over for us.

LebanonSome of the male staff were a bit annoying around the pool area, lots of inappropriate stares. Also some of the men at the restaurants spoke arabic around us thinking we could not understand and said very rude comments about us. They also refused to take our cash (again commenting in arabic that it might be fake money). Overall very mysogynistic treatment.
pool breakfast and view were the best. This is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at. Really worth it!!!!

United KingdomEverything was perfect. The service, costs, decor, food quality, comfort. All fabulous.
When you walk into the cool, marble atrium you really begin to truly experience the hotel and how beautiful it is. Checking in was a very smooth process and we were escorted to our room. It was wonderful not having to carry the suitcases. Our room could not have been better. It was very large and had a nice balcony that looked across the gardens towards the River Nile. It was very peaceful. The room was nicely decorated with a modern painting and a large mirror above the dressing table. There were a couple of glossy booklets that explained various dining options and trips that we could arrange here. A spacious wardrobe with wooden hangers, an iron & ironing board and a safe. Tea and coffee provided and so was a fridge with plenty bottled water. Bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries and plenty of fluffy white towels. The floor was natural stone and the shower tray was granite. It was superb. The air conditioning was easy to control, efficient and very quiet. The bed was huge, spotless white linen, four large, comfortable pillows. The door onto the balcony also had a fly screen – they have thought of everything. It was a perfect room and we really relaxed and slept so well whilst here. The hotel grounds are extensive. The gym is very well kitted out, nice and cool and has a water dispenser. The spa provides ladies and gents steam rooms and saunas, reflexology foot baths and relaxation rooms with water beds. There are also a variety of treatments that you can pay for in wonderful private rooms with huge glass windows looking across The Nile. We had body treatments. Three different pools, a variety of restaurants and bars. It is a perfect hotel. The staff and GM were very attentive.

United KingdomWe had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Luxor! The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, always making sure we felt at home. The pools were fantastic — well-maintained and a true pleasure to relax in, especially with the stunning views over the Nile, whether at the main pool or the spa pool. We also really enjoyed the on-site restaurants for both lunch and dinner — delicious food, great service, and beautiful settings. The hotel is perfectly located to explore the Luxor and Karnak Temples, just a short drive away. The concierge team was excellent, helping us arrange private car services around Luxor and even for our transfer to Marsa Alam. We highly recommend this hotel — a superb experience from start to finish!

Trinidad and TobagoFood service at the restaurant was not that great based on two dinners we had there. The breakfast variety was not as as expected, though all items were good. Bread served should always be warmed and fresh. I informed the Manager about this whenn we checked out.
A very good Hilton hotel. Views of the Nile were fantastic and the pool area really nice. Staff were very friendly and offered good service.
