I recently stayed at the Iberotel Makadi Beach Resort and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality from the most profecional receptionist Roman . The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped gardens and a pristine beach. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The housekeeping staff were attentive and kept the room spotless throughout my stay all my thanks goes to ABDEL QAWY and SALAH . The food at the resort was fantastic, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from at each meal. The staff at the restaurants were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any dietary requirements. all thanks goes to Mohamed , Amr and Ahmed . the pool resturant do the best steak you could ever taste . The resort also had a variety of activities on offer, including snorkeling, scuba diving, and a range of water sports. The entertainment team was energetic and engaging, making sure that there was never a dull moment during my stay. Overall, I had an incredible time at the Iberotel Makadi Beach Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway. The exceptional service, stunning surroundings, and wonderful amenities make it the perfect destination for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea.

Wifi was really not stable, and there was little phone signal throughout the property. Food was mediocre at best unfortunately.

The staff was always helpful, all request we had, were met in the span of 20m at most. Even though it was our first stay we were upgraded to a sea view room upon arrival.

It didn't bother us but be mindful that this hotel is mainly aimed at German tourists so a lot of the staff speak better German than English. Like I said, not a problem for us at all but just something worth knowing.

The hotel exceeded all expectations. Everything from the food to the rooms was perfect. The private beach was exceptional and a great place for snorkelling (they even have free equipment you can borrow) and you don't have to swim far to see some corals and fish. Every meal the food was excellent, plenty of choice with something for everyone. Delicious cocktails and service absolutely immaculate. Can't recommend this place enough.

It needs to be said that 90% of the tourists at Iberotel are German. So expect to be greeted in German all the time, which for us was not an issue. Though we did not travel for food, we found that the savory food at buffet was average. But deserts and pastries were EXCEPTIONNAL (+2kgs gained :) ). To summarise, yes we recommend the hotel and yes we will come back. We did a lot of activities by ourselves (glass boat, free diving, dolphin center etc), but there are more to do; so as the Egyptians say: "Once you drink from the Nile, you will come back again". So will we.

First you wonder if 7 nights wont be too long. But rapidly, magic starts...Here is what you will get at Iberotel Makadi Beach 1. Cleanliness & comfort. The level of cleanliness in this hotel is exceptional. In common areas, rooms, swimming pools, beach, restaurants & bars. You can trust what you eat and drink (even ice cubes and ice cream) and you will be safe. Beds are so comfy that you will sleep tight. Towels are changed as often as you want. Trash bins are emptied a countless number of times. 2. Beautiful gardens & surroundings with palm trees, rocks, cactus, blue pools, wooden bridges... especially the view from the beach rooms are breathtaking, be it at dawn or sunset. 3. A service oriented & friendly staff. The level of service is great. You will not wait long for your towel, coffee or your fantastic cocktails, and you will also get a bright smile. The staff at Iberotel is truly working hard to make your stay unforgettable. They love kids and will interact/joke with them all the time. A huge THANK YOU to Ismail and Ahmed at the pool bar whose smiles and beautiful mocktails made our days. Don't forget that good & hard work in Egypt is rewarded by tips, so please play the game.

It seems like WiFi quality is a common complaint. I would absolutely love if this issue is resolved next time I visit. The oriental restaurant was okay, but it definitely can be better in terms of the quality and the portions served. The beach servers should to be a little more attentive and friendly. Some had a very positive attitude tho and served us very happily. I would love to experinece the full sea view from a first-line row apartment. I do not know to how to pick that through Booking.com, but I would really appreciate such an experience next time.

From the very first moment, everyone in the staff was so incredibly friendly, welcoming and most importantly very professional. Very special thanks to Mr. Mina Magdi at the front desk who was always very responsive to my questions/concerns an made sure I have an exceptional experience. I had a triple queen room with full sea view that comfortably fit myself and my family. The room was super clean the beds were very cozy. The spacious balcony along with the beautiful sea view was quite relaxing and peaceful. Very special thanks to Salah, the room service personnel, for who always making sure the room is up and beautiful and has everything we need. The food was delicious with ton of varieties offered all the time. The kitchen area was super clean and very nicely organized which is something I appreciated so much. The kitchen staff were very welcoming and never stopped asking us how we felt about the food quality and whether we need anything. I deeply appreciated their positive attitude more than anything else. Shout out to Chef Hossam and Al-Gazzar and to the server Sayed. The beach area was way more spacious than it looks in Bookings.com's photos and it was kept very clean all the time. The staff by the beach provided a wide vaiety of gear for so much fun water activties. Special thanks to Al-Doctor for being very helpful and nice. The animation shows were so much fun. Myself and my family had a phenomenal experience and we definitely are coming back to Iberotel later this summer/early winter.

The staff was the very best of our stay, everybody is really nice and smiling, happy to help. The nice room with seaview was large and comfy, large comfy bed, large comfy bathroom and also with a big balcony. The flood was nice not great, the choice was okay, I expected more from such an hotel with more variation and more local food. animations in the evening was okay. Pool was cold and only one was heated with a nice bar. The very good New Year’s Eve party and dinner, with a long queue at the buffet at the opening.

From the first moment once entered the hotel lobby you’ve felt the famous Arabic hospitality. All of the hotel staff was very attentive, courteous, highly polite and very friendly. Especially the treatment and the interaction with kinds is one of a kind. You can leave your kids playing at dedicated areas e.g. kids club and be sure it will be safe and find some friends in a short time. The variety and quality of the food was also outstanding. No gastrointestinal problems at all - which you may read about when traveling to Hurghada. We’ve booked a sweet with seaview which I would highly recommend. You can make a coffee for yourself in your room and enjoy it with a fantastic view with a great book while the rest of the family is sleeping. The spa area was a highlight. You can leave your kids in the kids club in the afternoon and take some time to relax in a steam bath or Jacuzzi. All in all it was a great and relaxing time and with every cent. We will definitely come back.

I can not complain from any thing except the internet connection, I could not use it at all, was so slow and hard to connect.

It was really a 5-stars stay. The hotel upgraded our rooms from garden to pool view. The stay included water world park passes everyday. The staff was really very nice.

I would however recommend upgrading the quality of the snacks offered on the pool bar as the food was not quite tasty.

The staff were extremly nice and welcoming all along the stay. Starting with the reception, Hassan was very welcoming and tried to address all pur requests and even wishes. As well, Roman was very responsive and tried to help us with some bookings. The animation team was so cheerful and encouraging guest inclusion in all activities. The waiters service was pleasant and attentative at all times and in all places in the hotel.
