The vibes in the place is just exceptional! As a solo girl travelling the place was safe, clean and very friendly. It was a great adventure full of meeting great people from all over the world,, going places and making new friends. It started as me a stranger and ended of having my second family at Ithaka ♥️ will definitely visit again. Everyone from the hostel staff to guest are very welcoming and respectful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy place to stay. Don't be fooled by the old doors at the entrance, behind it is one of Alex hidden gems ✨

No air-conditioning in rooms, street noise can be loud, and the internet is slow.

Good hostel with convenient location in Alexandria. The hostel is close to transport, cafes, and main attractions, which makes it super easy to get around. The hostel is clean and welcoming, and receptionist Ahmed was super helpful with everything I needed.

The hostel had a great atmosphere, everything was clean and well taken care of, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. This is my 6th time staying at Ithaka Raml Station within a couple of months. I guess this says it all but let's check the boxes: comfortable rooms ✅ clean & colourful ✅ affordable cost ✅ central location ✅ tasty breakfast ✅ WiFi and AC ✅ personal locker ✅ good vibes ✅ friendly staff ✅ What else could you ask for?

Had to be careful a lot on those bunk beds (top one) because I almost twisted an ankle due to it not being very stable, although I think it's possible to change it to the bottom one so that shouldn't be a problem to others if there are not too many people.

The communication was great even before I arrived, all of my questions have been answered without any issues. After I got there, the staff was very helpful, friendly and understanding. The whole place was clean and comfy, especially the bathrooms, that's a nice change from some other experiences I've had with different hotels. The common area was my favourite thing due to being able to spend time with friends indoors and just chilling/resting. I deeply recommend, especially for a longer stay 🤍 also, I loved the balcony view !

Excellent hostel. Very good beds, good bathroom facilities, lovely common area. The AC works really well in the rooms. Breakfast is really nice. Location is central. The girls at the reception are absolutely lovely. Honestly, can't fault it!

This is my 4th time staying at Ithaka Raml Hostel in four consecutive months April, May, June, July 2025. Perfect location, perfect vibes, perfect interior, perfect breakfast, perfect staff. Decent WiFi, AC, bedside light and socket and a locker too. I couldn't possibly ask for more ❤️

The kitchen could use a couple more bowls, plates and pans and the shower rooms could use some shower gel.

The breakfast was oriental and was really nice, And the place is clean and very spacious and it has a old architectural style from the 80s, And all of the staff were really kind and respectful, From the housekeeping ladies to Ahmed and Zeina from the reception.

Wifi wasn't working in the dorm. The building entrance is dirty, the hostel itself is clean tho. If you need the AC, they only turn it on for just 2 hours.. Luckily I visited when the weather was still fine without AC.. but that's not sustainable in July or August.

Perfect location, delicious breakfast, the hostel itself is clean. Staff are awesome and cheerful very supportive. Even with some few glitches, I would stay again

- I stayed in a dormitory. It was equipped with bunk bed. The upper deck is too high for Asian people. I couldn't grap any objects on the bed when I stood on the floor. - To access to the Ithaka Raml hostel, you had to spot the sign " Fouad hotel" at the street. Or else you could not find it.

The kitchen was spacious and equipped with cooking utensils.

The place is great! Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is really good. I recommend it while visiting Alexandria.
