Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ChinaCheck in took a bit long, seriously short of staff. Suggest to check in after 4pm. The shuttle bus to Luxor center is not very frequent, difficult to get a taxi.
Good value, bungalow with good view, mini zoo, swimming pool.

United KingdomThere isn't anything I don't like. One thing I would mention is that more lighting is required at Kabadgy as it is difficult to see what your are eating
I love this hotel. It is the best place to go for relaxation and peace. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. Gardens are beautiful and being on the Nile is wonderful

United KingdomOverpriced food. They wanted to charge us £22 per person for dinner. We went into town and paid maximum £30 for a 6 persons meal. In other hotel we paid £9 per person and free children meals.
Beautiful hotel. It has 3 swimming pools, one child friendly. Has its own mini zoo, which kids loved. Very spacious, well equipped, very comfortable rooms.

Saudi ArabiaThe breakfast buffet was not that delicious
The staff were kind and supportive. The infinity pool was amazing with nice snacks bar. There was a free shuttle to downtown twice a day but we didn't use it because we were enjoying our time much in the hotel. The room was very big with a big balcony. I liked the view on the beautiful gardens. Also it wad nice to walk there and when we felt tired there was the golf car. They were so kind to gift us arrangements with decorations and cake. We enjoyed the Asian restaurant for dinner. The Ac in the room was good and quiet. The TV with many channels and there was slippers and bathrobes. Also a bath tup with two sinks. There was a lady bakes fresh bread in the breakfast buffet. Everything was beautifully prepared. Looking forward to be there again😍

United KingdomThe hotel food was a bit odd. They serve spaghetti bolognese at breakfast and the themed restaurants such as the chinese restaurant did not have well made food. The spa was also quite disappointing - the staff members did not seem sure of how to use the facilities and when the salesperson came into the room halfway into the massage to try and upsell a more expensive massage it was the opposite of relaxing.
We had a nice, quiet, spacious, clean room with a bath. The pool was especially nice for relaxing in the afternoon when it was too hot to sightsee any longer.

The atmosphere is great, quiet, serene, spacious, no loud music at the pool, no loud guests, authentic food, everywhere flowers and birds. Most magical the sunsets over the Nile. Take a boat ride, I also recommend training in the gym (well equipped) where a knowledgeable coach will provide you with a personal programme without extra charge. Staff everywhere nice, knowledgeable and service oriented.

United KingdomThe staff wasn’t friendly enough. They treated Asian clients differently from the European clients. For example, at the breakfast, if a European clients sits down, they immediately begin to greet them, asking what would they like for drink. But my mum and I were sitting for 15 mins, nobody care to ask anything. And they bring handmade coffee and tea for European, when I ask, they told me that I can get myself a coffee from the buffet. Also, they messed up with my booking at first. I booked for Nile view room, they give me garden view (which is cheaper), but when I ask, they made it as I am making a scene and they promoted me to better room
It’s a nice location. On separate island from the city centre. Many animals. Competitive price.
