Our rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. We loved the views of the Great Pyramid

There was quite a lot of street noise but that is the same all over Giza

The location was great; it is near the pyramids (a direct view!) and the Great Egyptian Museum. It is in a busy part of town, which could be irritating if you don’t like the sounds of the city, but we found it perfect. The rooms were comfortable with plenty of space. Breakfast on the roof terrace with a view of the pyramids was an experience in itself—excellent. All the staff were helpful and kind..

It feels like it’s a bit unfinished, but it isn’t really a problem.

The views from the balcony and especially from the breakfast terrace something! The guys in the reception helped us arrange anything we wished for, they were really cool. We prearranged a trip with Kemet Experience to the Pyramids and the guide was great, he also helped us arrange second part of the day for best efficiency of our day. The driver was a true adventure experience in Cairo :D On the accommodation,you can see partial renovations, bathroom was bit outdated, but nothing critical. The room was a bit cold,as night was still quite cold during our stay. The street on the side to the pyramids was noisy, but for one night and visit of the pyramids and all the above positives beat the small details :)

Our experience at Kemet Hotel was great since minute one, Hani and the staff working there were super welcoming and they made us feel at home. The rooftop terrace has great views of the pyramids of Giza, a perfect spot to catch the sunset and wind down after a long day.

We liked everything!

Everyone was welcoming and accommodating. We met and hung out with the owner Hanni who was actually very accomodating. Omar also was helpful with everything we needed during our stay. Good location. Close to the pyramids.

Exceptional stay. The staff were very helpful. Omar, our to go guy, helped organize our tours, the rides, and in room food deliveries. Breakfast on the roof terrace was great. Rides to and from the airport was a breeze. Great experience

We have stayed in Kemet Boutique Hotel for a week and it was a truly great experience. The staff was amazing, everyone was so kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with any kind of request, at any time. Just to make one of many examples, one evening (quite late in the evening actually), we wanted to have some typical Egyptian desserts on the terrace and they made it happen like it was the simplest thing ever. From our room and the terrace we could see pyramids and it was pure magic. The room was very large and super comfortable, the cleaning service superb and the position as well. We bring wonderful memories with us and we definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to experience a full immersion in real Egyptian daily life. Excellent location within walking distance to pyramids and short taxi ride to GEM. We loved walking the back streets around the hotel and always felt safe. Gritty but real. The room was large with very comfortable bed. We barely heard the road noise. Helpful and friendly staff who organised taxi transfers, dinner on the terrace and recommendations on where to eat. A fabulous time.

Gorgeous view. Very clean. Great breakfast. Kind staff. No pressure. Gorgeous rooftop. Nice balcony on room. Good wifi.

Really helpful and friendly staff, especially Omar at the reception. Excellent breakfast which changed every day. I loved the combination of tahina with black honey!

Space in the bathroom is limited so you have to shut the door before you can reach the toilet.

Omar and the rest of the staff at Kemet Boutique Hotel were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Omar helped us with booking taxis and tours and making recommendations for hotels in the area. The cats at the reception were super-friendly too. My daughter was really sad to leave Simba the cat behind when we left. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the roof every day right in front of the Great Pyramid.

Everything was good. The only thing is that Cairo is a noisy place, so we could hear traffic and dogs barking in the night and the muezzin in the early morning, but this will be the case pretty much everywhere in Cairo and Giza. Maybe bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper like me.

Friendly and accommodating staff

Bathroom issues like blocked sink, hot water running out during showers. There is also construction going on in the bottom floors so it was very noisy in the day and couldn’t rest after coming back from a day’s sightseeing

We adored the staff - and Omar was so very helpful as was everyone there. We enjoyed sensational views of the pyramids whilst breakfasting on the roof terrace - and it was central to see the sights

We loved Omar on the front desk….. he was super helpful as were all the other staff. Delicious breakfast on the roof terrace… and also very helpfully organised our guides and driver.

Amazing view and good breakfast. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and kind.

Shower wasn’t the best. Struggled to keep a temperature that wasn’t either boiling hot or freezing cold.

It was not far from the pyramids, and the rooftop view was absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly. Every single staff member was exceptionally kind, and Amar, in particular, went above and beyond by taking me out at night to explore different places. The atmosphere made me feel like all the staff were part of a family, and their willingness to promptly resolve even minor inconveniences left a lasting impression on me.

Although it is a safe area, there is a dumping site right in front of the hotel, which doesn't look very appealing. The nearest market is located about a 10-minute walk away.

Nice small hotel in busy Gizeh...helpful staff , right in the middle of real Cairo. View from the roof and nice breakfast service.

Some basic material for tourists, cards with name of hotel in arabic and driving instructions for non gsm taxi drivers...
