Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The location is really good, very closed to the main centre. Mohamed was really helpful and supportive during the whole stay. I definitely recommend staying here!

The lift broke down for a few days but they were waiting on a part to come from Cairo and once it arrived was fixed.
Absolute incredibly comfortable stay. I travelled as a woman alone and felt safe at all times. The place is well managed by Mohamed who is not only kind to the guests but also speaks nicely to his staff something one doesn’t often see in hotels. All the staff I met were so friendly! Mohamed, Mustafa, Kazim, the night security man, housekeeping and the 2 staff serving the breakfast. Even the young boys cleaning the floors and reception were polite and respectful. The apartment itself was very clean, with the most comfortable beds. You have everything you need to cook your own meals. Air conditioning in each room, a tv in the lounge and main bedroom. Good quality shower and a new hairdryer. The apartment is also very local - close for markets, restaurant and coffee shops. I have already booked my December stay and highly recommend this place. Well done everyone!

This is a great place with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The facilities are well-maintained, and having both a washing machine and a fridge made things so convenient. The beds were comfy, and the sofa was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Overall, a wonderful and practical place to stay—I’d happily return!

I got the 1 bedroom this time on the ground floor and the only thing not as good as the 2 bedroom is that the laundry machine had a dial without a timer so when I set the laundry I didn’t know that it was going to run for 2.5 hrs. Laundry finished at 23:30 at night and I had to check out next day. The new machine is better because I can see how long it takes to finish laundry.
Mohammed Hussain got me a sea view with the one bedroom. Good to see you again! Hope all is well with the family. Thanks for all the help as always!

Would be good to have something that was cooked added to the breakfast. Something simple and Egyptian.
I got the two bedroom with sea view on the 4th floor. Was big. There was a sea view but not very dramatic and there was a building under construction across the street that might eventually block part of the view. Air condition (A/C) in all rooms, nice and cold. Had kitchen with basic items for making coffee, plates, untensil, and some pots. One double bed and 2 twin bed rooms. Good sized bathroom. Living room and dining room with TV with 1300 channels. Each room has its own WiFi router (7Mbps down/8Mbps up), took me about 1hr to get it all working with help of reception. Mohammad H. was very helpful with the WiFi and showing me the room and answering questions. Rooftop had a great view. Breakfast was included, basic. I had a great time. I will come back again in a few days.
