We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

But there is not WIFI in the hotel except near the reception. Isolated place, no shops, no transportation, no other services. WC and shower places zero. Doors are broken. Really a bad experience.

EgyptThey confirmed my booking through booking.com, then when called them to let them know we will be coming later than our check-in time, the customer service team member told us that all rooms are booked for today and that we don't have a booking at the hotel (I clearly told them that we booked through Booking.com). Luckily, I didn't submit my payment online as it would've caused much more problems.

EgyptDear Siesta Hotel Management, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your hotel. I had a confirmed reservation through Booking.com (Reservation Number: **4961968101**), but upon arrival, the receptionist informed me there was no booking under my name and no available rooms. His attitude was rude and dismissive, which made the situation even worse. To try and solve the issue, my friend Khaled contacted the hotel directly, but the staff member he spoke with was also unhelpful and spoke in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. This experience caused a great deal of stress and wasted time. I was left without accommodation and had to search for another place to stay at the last minute, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Such treatment from hotel staff is unacceptable, especially for a guest with a confirmed booking. I believe this reflects poorly on the hotel's service and management. I am requesting a formal apology and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and the time wasted due to this mishandling of my booking.
