Be careful with the scam at reception. There is a counter that provides guided tours. They are very expensive and if want to bargain with them, they offer you out of the office service. Once you get that offer that looks great offer, you are trapped and you will pay way more than the first official offer. Go online and get a well known companies that provide guided tours specially Booking.com. Restaurant was a bit over charged but the food on room service was ok.

The WiFi only worked well on the lobby. Despite good signal strength on my 9th floor, I was only able to get connection for a few minutes, and never again. Property maintenance is sub-par. Hooks in the bathroom fall off (not broken, just need tightening), glass shower curtain rattles - again, just needs fixing. Vent holes in the hall are open, like someone started work and never finished. Bathroom mirror is chipped, and so on.

We had a spacious two-bed suite for the whole family, with good beds and lots of storage. Breakfast was good. All the staff were nice and helpful. Hotel location is central only a few minutes ride from Tahrir Square.

Windows do not properly close Rooms looked to the other side where down there under the windows the cooling system (?) noise was quite loud reaching the rooms. One of the toilets was not really usable because of slow filling

The pool was not in use from what i could see .. no sun loungers out and nobody in the pool. The gym was being refurbished and i didn't see any sign of the wellness centre, hot tub or massages. Avoid the gift shop, the guy in there asked me for 2000egp£ for a 2 inch ornament that was worth no more than 100£egp , insulted, I laughed and walked away. ..also avoid the taxi hire desk in the lobby ....i was quoted $20 for a trip to airport that if you book online costs $10 or on uber its $5. Use Uber or metro to travel around 😉

I would recommend this hotel because the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious with clean towels and gel and toothpaste etc all provided. The hotel was quiet at night, no noise from quests banging doors or chatting loudly. Room was cleaned daily with tea and water refilled. Kettle in the room with tea and sugar. The location is excellent, 10 mins walk to metro, 5 mins to supermarkets and about 15 mins walk to tahir square. Breakfast was varied, eggs cooked to order, pastries, cereals , juices all plentiful. I'd stay here again.

Dislikes: The bed linen and towels barely meet 3 star standards. We stayed here as last stop on a 3 week journey. Room standard definitely didn't meet the mark. Fridge does not work very effectively. Uber drivers seem to have trouble with this location for departure. Return trips were fine

Poorly organized shower cabin, the water spilling out. Staff kept asking us if we were ok. It would be nice once or twice, but we were asked the same question about a dozen times (we stayed for one night only), they even called the room phone to ask.
