The main problem: the activities and entertainment are very bad. Like Darts, Boccia, and Yoga, it's just the names. Also, evening shows are not good at all. The only good thing was every 2 days for 2 hours of live music in the bar. When main restaurant closed from 15:00 till 18:30, there are no places to eat. The only open place is Beach Bar but it serves only poor-quality burgers and french fries, also there is a pizza bar but the pizza is not tasty. This hotel is for Italian people, they have their shows and are treated first. The hotel is perfect for people who want the best coral reef and don't care about activities onsite. If they make the entertainment and games properly, that would be a 10-star hotel!

The best coral reef. Nice beach it has sand area and panton. Big room. Great housekeeping the Redu cleans our room every day, super happy with this. Quite wide selection of food you will always find what to eat. The food quality is average. The staff inside the main restaurant works much better, they clean tables and bring drinks very fast. One time we sat outside and it was very slow service. Beautiful area around the hotel. Nice to walk in the evening with lights on palms. Overall very good hotel for its money.

The reef is amazing for fish watching. A special mention to the amazing staff: Dr Abdullah and Ibrahim in the clinic who treated my coral cut so kindly. Mohamed the life guard on the jetty was so kind. The animation team - Sultan, Bedo and Morad. The reception and catering staff all so lovely.

The village at times can be too large to move around quickly enough.

Fantastic location straight on to Al Fanar reef. Nice food and staff courtesy. We travelled as a family and there was very good animation for our teenager kids.

I did a day trip on a boat for snorkelling - I found the trip was quite a long day out and we only visited two snorkelling spots for 30 to 45 minutes each. One spot had so many other boats there that it was quite crowded in the water with both snorkellers and divers, which detracted from the experience. I actually thought that the house reef was equal to the snorkelling spots in Ras Mohammed National Park. Perhaps a different location would be better such as Tiran Island. I was disappointed that I didn't see any larger marine life such as turtles or sting rays.

The resort complex was beautiful with lush gardens and multiple swimming pools. The views of the sea were also spectacular. The all-inclusive buffets offered variety and excellent standard of food, with friendly service staff. We tried both the main buffet restaurant and the Citadel restaurant over-looking the sea. We also enjoyed the option of a la carte dining at two restaurants - the Indian restaurant was included in the tarrif and was excellent. We also enjoyed the beach location and house reef for snorkelling. Our room was spacious, air-conditioned and comfortable and daily house-keeping was good. I can't fault the hotel facilities for a 5 star stay at Sharm El Sheikh.

The fact that there is no towel station at the aqua park

The food variety and quality was great! The reef snorkeling was nice, the beach was sandy and comfy the beach bar snacks and drinks were good. The staff at the front desk (Anas and mohamed) were kind and helpful. The staff and chefs at the restaurants (Mr Hegazy, the chefs and all the rest of the crew/waiters) were delightful and welcoming. The entertainment was also really good.

Overall Wi-fi is good, but it could be improved adding more areas covered (eg. restaurant/beach bar) The quality of wine could be improved a little bit.

Loved the design of the resort . Beautiful resort and stunning beach. Staff could not be nicer. Best service we have ever experienced in our many travels. Food was excellent and varied. We enjoyed snorkelling on the reef in front of the hotel in crystal clear water. Great value for money. Loved our stay and would love to return.

the beach is very busy but that its just becuase it is a popular hotel.

Very nice resort, with big size rooms, lots of places to eat, and a nice walk to the beach. The staff at each restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. Mahomood the bar manager made me feel very welcome every night. we stayed here for the second half of the holiday and this was a better hotel than the first.

The music on the beach was very loud and especially when we could hear the loud music from the hotel next door as well! I would very much like to see a short appeal in every hotel room asking guests not to swim over the corals when the water is low and not to stand on them, or feed the fish and why...no one notices or reads the notice on the beach, it would be easy enough to add to the general info given.

The hotel was impeccably maintained, inlcuding the grounds which were immaculate. The food in the buffet restaurant was excellent, plenty of choice of dishes. The staff were attentive and friendly. The location for those who want to snorkel is fabulous.

Staff were either extremely pleasant or extremely grumpy. Just didn’t know what you was going to get. I met some amazing staff with great stories and also great hospitality. The grumpy ones appeared as though they didn’t like working there and so they would misdirect their angst butI haven’t done a thing. many people don’t like their jobs but you don’t make customers aware of it. Food was a hit and miss … I recall the noodles and friend rice to be consistent - so if in doubt I went for that. The beef wellington was good as well as the Shepard pie- but with all that food I should definitely have had more things to like eating there. The Italian food section needs work…Simple food for kids would be an idea I.e macoroni cheese or chicken nuggets, fish fingers , mash potatoes etc would have good. You can tell some sauces are being used for another dish..ethical but then you feel like everything tastes the same. More tea options in mugs and not in cappuccino mugs would have been good but I understand the demographics there is largely Italian. Real squeezed or blended orange and pineapple juice would also have been a good addition with all the heavy meat and carb consumption at hand.

literally everything is there ! if you didn’t want to leave you wouldn’t have to. I came to assess if this was something to bring the rest of my family to and I think they will enjoy it. When I had any bathroom issues I.e low water pressure , blocked wash basin or no hot water,..it was annoying that every other day - there was an issue with the bathroom but what I was impressed with they dealt with it professionally and quickly. I liked my room - superior room. The laundry service is great and good value £5-12 for about 8pc of clothing. I don’t think I explored everywhere as the place is so big! I stayed at the heated pool and our pool near our room..it was nice. Overall if you have any issues they will fix it! Very observant staff and my 10 yr old kid felt very safe there which was a big 10/10 for me.
