Yet, nothing prepared me for the experience I had here. From the very first moment, it wasn’t just the luxury of the property that stood out, it was the atmosphere, the effortless warmth, and the genuine smiles that seemed to light up every corner. The staff were not simply attentive; they were intuitive, anticipating our needs before I even voiced them. Special mention must go to Mohamed *2 from reception and Steven, who consistently went far beyond expectations, and AbdulRahim from the beach restaurant along with his team, whose service was on an entirely different level. The golf cart team were equally exceptional—helpful, courteous, and cheerful at all times. Without exception, every staff member demonstrated a professionalism and kindness that left a lasting impression. Their ability to go above and beyond redefined for me what true hospitality means. To say they “went the extra mile” feels like an understatement, they made us feel not just like guests, but like family. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was uplifting, elegant, and relaxed all at once. Every detail, from the way we were greeted to the thoughtful personal touches in service was flawlessly executed. I never imagined I would say this about a hotel in Egypt which makes me very proud, but this hotel has set a new benchmark, one that even the world’s most acclaimed properties could learn from. Truly, an unforgettable experience. Finally, I would like this note of appreciation to be shared directly with Mr. Ayman, the General Manager, and his assistant (I believe his name is Mr. Magdi). EgyptWe had a truly excellent experience at Steigenberger Alya Marsa Alam. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and cleanliness stood out. The atmosphere of the resort is warm and welcoming, with a lovely blend of relaxation and elegance. The food was of great quality, with plenty of variety and delicious flavors. Special compliments to the hotel manager, Mr. Karim, for running everything so smoothly. The reception team was outstanding, and we would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Steven at the front desk for his professionalism and kindness. At the Mashawi Beach Restaurant, manager Mr. Abd El Raheem made sure every detail was perfect, while in the Sultana Main Restaurant, the staff members Mr. Emad, Mr. Mohamed, and Mr. Yahya provided excellent service with genuine smiles. Housekeeping was also remarkable – thank you to Mr. Ahmed for keeping our room spotless and comfortable throughout our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with a lovely upgrade to a Deluxe Sea View Room, which offered the most amazing views of the Red Sea – an unforgettable highlight of our holiday. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-quality hospitality in Marsa Alam!

ItalySome very small things that could be improved are the shower (the water was either too hot or too cold), the WiFi, and the air conditioner, which was a little too noisy. The only disappointing thing was the tour organizer. We wanted to go to Marsa Mubarak and he told us to leave the hotel at 8. When we arrived at the boat, nobody was there yet, and the boat keeper was very surprised to see us so early. We were 1 hour and 30 minutes ahead of everyone else, so we had to wait a long time. The organizer clearly got the timing wrong.
The hotel was amazing, I didn’t want to leave. I spent 10 wonderful days! The staff was absolutely fantastic: so kind, attentive, and always available to help. The food was great too. There was a buffet every morning and evening with a wide variety of choices. In addition, you could book dinner once in each of the four à la carte restaurants (Asian, Italian, Seafood, and Lebanese). At the buffet, one of the main waiters, Mohammed, was especially kind and welcoming. The place itself is stunning. Our room was beautiful, and the housekeeper was very kind and creative: every day he surprised us with amazing towel sculptures and decorations that always impressed me. There were several beautiful pools, and the gardens were very well kept. I also loved the beach: the sea, full of incredible corals, was accessible only via a jetty, but it was absolutely worth it as you could see so many wonderful fish. Every evening the hotel organized great shows; my favorite was the circus, but all of them were very entertaining! I’ll definitely come back to this hotel! It was truly an amazing experience.

All the staff was incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The food was delicious and tasty with a wide variety of options to choose from. It's also such a quite place compared to the other hotels around, excellent for couples in a peaceful and romantic environment. Many thanks to all the staff for their kindness and professionalism. We liked everything about this resort. We enjoyed having a swim-up room. Worth every penny. The staff were super friendly & very accomodating. Taking care of all of our needs. We felt very looked after. Our room was very comfortable & impeccably cleaned everyday. The foods was delicious at all of the restaurants that we ate at. The buffet was amazing with lots of choice & very nicely presented.

SpainOur experience at Steigenberger Resort Alaya Marsa Alam was excellent from start to finish. The level of service exceeded all expectations. Beautiful, spacious rooms with comfortable beds, terraces, and, most importantly, separate bathrooms with good doors (not glass), wonderful pools, very clean, bar staff and poolside staff do everything possible to ensure a pleasant stay. Delicious and varied food and desserts, lots of fresh fruit, and absolutely delicious smoothies made from mango, strawberry, and agave. They were magnificent. A very good gym, it has everything you need for a quality workout. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. And would love to visit this hotel again.

The hotel facilities is in pristine condition and the pool is amazing with very smart sun beds set up to endure privacy. The beach is amazing with eco-friendly sun beds and shades. The safety is a priority with signs everywhere and entrance and exist is well marked. The Room is impressive ( we at stayed in Deluxe room with sea view) even better than described. The landscape and greenery is amazing ( I have seen maintenance team working silently at night to make sure the place looks perfect and clean when guests wake up next day).The Food quality and choice of food items (With multiple al carte restaurant we choose the Asiana and Seafood). Definitely will come back.
