Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaSeveral places are having reconstruction, noise in daytime.
Good staff, very warm hearted and like to help. Ms. Rawan and the other lady (sorry I don't know her name) at check-in gave me good suggestions and help. All-inclusive package is good, easier for everyone on daily dining.

EgyptNeed more golf cars to and from the Marina. (Soma Bay related?) AC did some noise from time to time but it's wasn't that terrible. The touchpad was a bit tricky to manage but it's ok.
Room: The room had sea view even for standard ones. Breakfast: A large variety of everything and super tasty. Staff, super helpful and decent. Beach: very neat and large waterfront and near the wooden jetty for snorkling and diving with the coral reef and the multicolor fish :) a must visit! When we arrived we found a surprise in the room, a honeymooner cake. It was a very nice gesture. Beach was nice and clean. At the end of the stay, we were near late for the bus and Momen from reception and golf car tried his best to help us reach our bus on time and he succedded. He was up to the mission and saved the day. A true hero :) Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Egypt- Big part of the hotel is under renovation which limited the use of the hotel facilities for us - Managing the questions about the room number can be improved, we kept saying the room number for the staff 10 times a day. a bracelet can be a good option to avoid the inconvenience
- Amazing Location in the beautiful Somabay - Dinner and breakfast food quality is very good with many options - Staff are welcoming and trying to help - We were offered an upgrade at a discounted rate to make our stay more convenient

EgyptRemoteness from downtown and center with comparatively very high relevant transportation costs. Recommends shuttle bus(s) , providing relevant roundtrip shuttles to serve such needs once or twice a day
Breakfast is quite rich and versatile. Staff is very welcoming, helpful, highly responsive & supportive. Room service food meets expectation with good taste food that is quickly & neatly served.

ItalyResort vibe - definitely family and couple-oriented, not very suitable for singles or groups of friends. Not a problem at all, but just one thing to keep in mind. Location - significantly more remote than - for example - options in Hurghada. It's the reason why I booked it, but just something to keep in mind if you plan on moving around the area/out of the resort often. Cocktail selection - improvable, or perhaps can be made more visible to guests.
Room & value for money - pricing in early May made it very affordable to get a beautiful sea-view suite on the 3rd floor. Beach - nice, peaceful and beautiful. Food - buffet breakfast and dinner were both very complete.

EgyptThe animation team's party every evening was loud, at a time where we wanted to enjoy peace and quiet in the balcony. I was disappointed when I tried to upgrade my stay to half board, the price difference was exaggerated in my opinion
The location is heavenly. We feel in love with the bay and enjoyed our walks in the sand and swimming in the crystal clear water. The hotel is huge and very impressive. You'll feel like you're royalty in a glamorous pharaonic palace. The rooms have just been renovated and are very modern and well equipped. The bedding was very comfortable We only had breakfast, the food was great and the buffet offered everything. The restaurant had a great view on the beach

GermanyThe only problem we had was that the hotel has no non-smoking policy. A dedicated smoking area on the beach would be great. We couldn't enjoy the sea breeze most of the time, as there is always someone smoking nearby. The same goes for dinner. Sitting inside is too hot, and outside - one can't enjoy the delicious meals sometimes because of the smokers. The neighbours and/or staff smoking even woke us up at 6 am a few times, as our room was full of cigarette smell (we like having fresh air while sleeping and keep the window open at night). The air conditioning is quite loud, but cools the room very efficiently.
The private beach right in front has enough loungers with umbrellas (though the front row tends to be occupied by 9-10 am), the water is very clear. We took long walks along the beach, and saw that the Sheraton part of the beach is really the best, as it's cleanest, calmest (when there's wind) and has no algae. You can even see a few fish there. If you're into snorkeling, you can visit the Jetty (10-min walk from Sheraton), where there is a fantastic coral reef with lots of fishes. It was the best snorkeling experience we've ever had. The room is great. It's spacious, there's a seating area inside and on the balcony. The balcony door has a mosquito net. The curtains are very good at blocking out the sun, so the light didn't wake us up in the morning. The room has a kettle, a minifridge, the housekeeping brings a few bottles of water every day. The room service is very good, fast (about 25 min) and inexpensive. We ordered a Pizza Pollo, which was delicious and cost around 7€. The bed is perfect: very wide, soft enough for our backs not to hurt, but not too soft, and it was one huge mattress (not 2 moved together) which is really comfortable. We liked the large walk-in shower with high-quality toiletries. The food is exceptional. The breakfast has a huge selection of warm dishes, pastries, vegetables, fruit, cheeses, lots of jams, muesli, even natural comb honey. The dinner is also perfect, with different themes each night. Apart from the main dishes and sides, there are grill stations, soups, lots of salads and dips, and an amazing selection of pastries and cakes. We absolutely loved the cakes and highly recommend the Arabian specialties like Om Ali and Knafeh. The drinks are not included at dinner (we had halfboard), but are not too expensive (2.5€ for a Pepsi). Strong and fast Wifi, even on the beach. The staff is amazing. Our housekeeper Mohamed made supercute towel animals for us, which we found such a great personal touch.

SwedenWonderful. Clean, extremely comfortable beds, friendly staff. Due to renovation the facilities like gym and lobby are limited. Fantastic beach. Boat tours/ snorkeling trip overpriced in the area but easy to book from other organizers through booking.com and no problem with transport to Hurghada if needed. Low season and not very many restaurants open but enough. Good variety at breakfast.

EgyptThe Hotel was under going renovation so the actual dining area was a make shift area that was not the best but sufficed. The Hotel in general once finished with the renovation I believe will be very nice. The Landscape of the Hotel is very very poor especially that Egypt is well known for its variety of Palm tress and Landscape in general.
We only had Breakfast but found it to be well rounded in terms of variety.

AustriaFirst, the sevice is too "pro-active", million questions from the staff - "are you OK" or like this. For me too much..... Over service.....Second, some strange rules, like need to sign zero bills for "all_inclusive" drinks. This is not normal for me. Third - room is very good, but few details do not make it perfect- e.g. I did not find the way how to switch the light on in the night in the bedroom, and do not disturb my partner who is sleeping.
location is perfect
