Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Overall great staff, friendly and helpful. Perfect for a stay in downtown Luxor and the east bank. Located right in front of Luxor temple and the Nile are in walking distance. Room has a safe. Bathroom was clean and spacy.and nice rooftop with swimming pool.

We were staying at 5. floor and it was always noisy. There were rooms for cleaning and breakfast were prepared upstairs. So constantly there was noise of tables dragged and thing were falling down and making noise. It was frustrating
Staff were really helpful, they let us to check in early and it was a big help for us. And location was really good

Breakfast could be better.
The location of the hotel is superb, the view to the temple can't get any better. Very good value for money. Humble rooms but clean and with everything you need (including air-conditioning and wifi!).

The linen can do with changing, and the bathroom spruced up a bit more. Aside from that, it was functional and overall met our needs.
Right in the middle of town, the location was perfect. Close to the temple and train station, it is a walking distance and a cab not required. Internet and connectivity were stable and free.

Definitely, the highlight of this hotel is the rooftop with swimming pool, very well located and very nice. You will be able to spend your mornings, and even more evening without getting bored. The staff who take care of the rooms are very friendly, as is the reception staff. The room was quite decent and well furnished.

Great location directly facing the Luxor temple, and Nile, staff very helpful and freindly, room was clean, quite and very comfortable, breakfast was good and nice rooftop with swimming pool.

Breakfast is enough but it is a fixed menu. Be careful with the carriage drivers in front of the hotel too much scam and bother.
Central location, can walk to the bazaar, Luxor temple, and the Museum. Everything you need is around the hotel. We had a room with a river view, and it was wonderful. Quiet place however it is in a central location.

Heritage Hotel showing its age, but the location cannot be beaten. Roof top views over Luxor Temple, Nile and west bank fantastic. Breakfast good. Staff helpful. Wifi good.

The location is very central. Very close to the entrance of the Luxor temple. The employees are very friendly and help you with any problems. They helped us a lot. The breakfast was very tasty. . The air conditioner in the rooms worked very well and nice swimming pool on the rooftop

The restaurant terrace, its absolutely like on the pictures. You have direct view to the Luxor Temple, the road of Sphinx and the Nile. The hotel is also in a very good location and the staff were so kind and helpful :)

The internet is really bad but whats worse is the constant hussling right outside the door by the taxi and carruage drivers.

It was in a very central position. It had everything that was supposed to happen in a Three-star hotel. my room was Luxor temple and Nile facing room, which was very spacious and very good for cleaning. breakfast was very good. Nice rooftop with swimming pool.

Very poor breakfast and extra charge for coffee and orange juice. Not nice everytime I entered the room workers were asking tips.
