Nothing, was all perfect for us

Excellent! Highly recommended! Was perfect for us. The best location ever, a quick walk to the boat to go to the East for 10egp, where you'll find luxor museum just opposite. Karnak is a 10minutes walk from the boat arrival spot. The best restaurants are just by the flat! The Nile view and Thèbes restaurants. Both very cheap, fresh with breakfast options. A 5 min walk to get a sim card or get cash too..the flat was big, plenty of space, very comfortable beds, slept like a baby. 2 sofas and 2 armchairs in the living room, kettle and fully equiped kitchen. The view from the terrace is AMAZING! We had dinner up there few times to enjoy the lights and view of the Nile and luxor temple. Also, the swimming pool is very nice and much bigger than it looked on the pictures. Very safe place and nice owners. They offer help with anything you may need and check that you do not need anything else in your room all the time which is very thoughtfull. They are not pushy like everyone else around trying to sell you things. They offer trips but barely mention them so please ask if you need as their prices are very good compared to others. Their prices for king Valley or balloon were cheaper than what we have been offered elsewhere..and at least you do not have to negociate which a lot of us hate doing! We had a very nice stay there!

It was a short walk away from the pier, easy to get to the sites on the west bank and Mohammed was a great host. He arranged a tour to the Valley of the Kings and several other sites for a very reasonable price, he was there to help with anything we needed. Would have stayed more days but he is fully booked. The mosques are noisy in Luxor and it was not overly loud in this location. 2 out of the 3 of us didn’t even hear it our 2 nights stay.

The ventilation of the bathroom wasn’t working, but the owner told us they were renovating and didn’t have time to fix that. To be honest, it didn’t stop us from enjoying our stay.

The owner was very attentive and, once we got there, helped us to arrange a driver to take us everywhere. He also gave us tips on what to do in Luxor. The staff is definitely the highlight of Tara Apartments. They also have a very nice terrace with a great view of the Nile.

Amazing amazing value for money! The pool was great and we were the only guests there so it felt like it was a private pool :) Mohamed was really kind and offered us tea, and the area is the BEST area in Luxor. People on the West Bank were so much kinder, and all of the restaurants nearby were amazing. 10000% would recommend.

Everything was perfect. The value for money is unbeatable. My kids loved playing in the pool, the rooftop offer a really nice view (and a washing machine), it's quite and safe, perfect for good holidays. The owner was always available, he gave us the right addresses to buy at the right price, as if we had always lived in the neighborhood. He helped us organize the rest of our stay in Egypt, without any financial interest, just pure kindness.

Great accommodation right next to the Nille. The pool and views from the rooftop are absolutely amazing. Overall facilities are great and Mohammed is a great host. Would give it a 13/10. P.S. don't visit the Collosi of Memnon in the evening or night, the lights are not that great and you can't see the magnificent structures to well

Showering equipment needs improvement. The drain was a bit clogged. The laundry machine was not in the room as shown in photos. It was moved to the roof but was still available for our use. The stove was unavailable.

The host waited for our late arrivals and provided easy check-in/check-out. Me and my friends enjoyed the pool at night. Very good price/quality.

The apartment was situated in a very quiet area but restaurants were easy accessible, as well as the Nile and the ferry to cross to the other side. Mohammad was the perfect host, he helped us to make the most of our trip by showing us the area and organizing a driver for us. He was very attentive, letting us check in very early and also check out late. The pool was a very nice addition especially in the hot weather.

I really cannot think of anything that was a problem.

The location was very good. Mini mart around the corner, good choice of restaurants a short stroll away and a bigger supermarket with pretty much anything you could want a bit further down the road. The people who run this place are always available and will help get anything you need. We needed a guide to see the archeological sites in this area and the guide they put us in contact with (Barre) turned out to be truly exceptional. We had 5 days and a lot we wanted to see. He organised a car and driver and an itinerary to optimise what we could manage to see. He also helped us with some health and medical issues so we were able to continue and get around the sites. I can highly recommend both this guide and accommodation.

The view from the Apartment and the roof top is fabulous, like in the picture. Mohammad the landlord is very friendly and happy to assist with activities. For example a Hotfly at sunset for 2100EGP per person. Crossing the Nile to Luxor is easy. The ferry (5EGP per Person) is just 400m away. A privat boat takes about 50EGP for the crossing.
